Just like he said, he's not excited on telling the events of the day to his brother- luckily, mom is not home when he arrived, so he will worry about that later- but at least Hitoshi doesn't push, except for the worrying glances between him and his arm.
Ah, yes. He forgot that his brother is extremely observant too. So he probably saw some traces of black in his arms that his classmates didn't notice. He's pretty sure his homeroom teacher noticed it, hence the offer to accompany him to the infirmary, but didn't say directly. And he was grateful for that.
"I'm wishing that what's on your arm is some ink that is spilled on you or some tattoo but considering our bad experiences in school, I'm not betting my chances." Hitoshi sighed as he forced himself to look away from his older brother's arm, and slumped in his seat on the couch beside Izuku.
"Mhm." Izuku hummed, before adding. "Just give me a few minutes to gather my thoughts."
So they stayed silent for a while, even if Hitoshi somehow managed to dump Yuuki in his physically and emotionally exhausted body. Izuku petted the cat absentmindedly, and when he gathered enough courage to say what happened, their mom arrives. Great, at least he'll just say it all at once.
"I'm home!" Inko enthusiastically called out at the door, and the two kids answered her, but their voices betray the words they replied. She looked over her kids worryingly and immediately removed her shoes before running to them.
"Hey honey, you okay?" She asked Izuku, who just stared at his mom and hummed. She glanced over Hitoshi next, and gave him a look that screams 'what happened?'. The purple-haired boy shrugged at first, but after for a few moments under mom's stare, he sighed and straightened up.
"Izuku came home like that. I really don't know what happened, Mom. He hasn't said anything yet." Came the reply of Hitoshi, and that's Inko's turn to sigh. They stayed silent again for a while, clearly giving Izuku space and indicating that he can tell them anytime he wants and that just warms the green-haired boy's heart, even though his shock and anxiety are overpowering it at the moment.
"Hey, Toshi? You might want to pull your money out after I'm done telling you my day."
Hitoshi and Inko looked at each other, vaguely recognizing that it was Izuku's way telling them that his day is bad enough that can cause his brother to swear, which- mind you, not very often. He might look like a person who likes to swear, but no- most of it only occurred in stressed situations or problems, his brother's self-doubt or just cussing to Katsuki in general if he pushed the buttons enough for him to be snarky. So yeah, Hitoshi isn't feeling good about this.
"So I guess it started me getting help in directions- " At this Hitoshi snorted, but Izuku paid it no mind, "from my senpais, which very much warned me about my homeroom teacher." Izuku took a deep breath, before snatching a throw pillow on the couch and promptly screamed words at it. "ANDMYHOMEROOMTEACHERISERASERHEADOHMYGODICAN'TBELIEVETHATBUTI'MALSOSCARED-"
Hitoshi- having used to Izuku now, understood that onslaught of words but that doesn't stop him from shaking his brother and pulling the pillow away from him to get his attention. Don't get him wrong, he is very surprised, and that means Eraserhead can be his teacher next year if he passed, but right now- Izuku needs to breathe. "Zuku, I am happy that he is your homeroom teacher but can you at least manage to breathe? I don't want you dead after your first day." He flicked his forehead when he didn't stop from the shaking, and his brother at least has the decency to look ashamed when he stopped. Izuku smiled at him sheepishly, before scratching the back of his neck. "Yeah, thank you for the reminder." Hitoshi rolled his eyes before he urged the green-haired boy to continue.
"Well, after that, you can say that I lost my classmates one-by-one? Most of them got expelled. But I mean, maybe not entirely one-by-one, but it's definitely by batch. IhonestlythoughtIwasinsideahorrormovieathowfastthenumberofourclassisdwindling.ThepervertinourclassissexpelledforasolereasononhisownunliketheothersbutIthinkyoushouldgetthepointhowscared-"Hitoshi really wanted to stop his brother from rambling, he really does. But he blanked out after he heard the word one-by-one and expelled. He glanced at his mom and was definitely relieved he's not the only one on this. What the absolute fuck, Izuku?
