Katie's P.O.V

Day One - Exactly like Gov said,
Listed all our songs, played all for Gov.
Started to rule some out - Not going on the album.

Day Two - Stevie played about with his drums, adding some drum heads and losing some drum heads. No idea... but he did find a piano, in another room.
Eddie broke an amp, making Gov cry from laughter.
Dylan got song writing advice from the Gov.
I learnt how to switch the interactive mic from the coms, to the headphones.

Day Three - Dylan taught me some guitar tricks, I now know what a whammy bar is and does... I hate it, but I can learn to love it.
Eddie, Stevie and I sung Bohemian Rhapsody, and Stevie killed it on the high notes.
I confessed to Gov the list of my celeb crushes, slightly losing my shit when he started talking about Joe Elliott. He was good about it.
We all had a go on the mics.

Day Four - We started recording 'Look What The Cat Dragged In'.
Eddie, Dylan, Stevie, and I played some curling, with Stevie sat on a wheelie chair, up and down the corridor, as Todd was trying to do some shit with his voice... Whatever, Todd...
Dylan recorded his guitar for 'Look What The Cat Dragged In' in one take.
We were going to get the instrumentals down, before the vocals, but Todd didn't like that idea.

Day Five - I took a day off to catch a movie with Kirk. We saw the latest Star Wars together!
I heard Stevie really pissed off Todd, and Gov had to break up a fight between Dylan (defending Stevie) and Todd.
Kirk let me borrow one of his guitars.

Day Six - Dylan painted Kirk's guitar pink... Dickhead. I'll still play it, but he's telling Kirk!
Vikki joined us in the studio.
Billie stopped in and brought us all pizza.
I have successfully recorded two songs, but only one solo.
Eddie is killing it on the bass.

Day Seven - Recording.
Stevie got so high...

Day Eight - Gov showed Stevie a card trick.
Stevie was mind blown, so started throwing facts at the Gov in return.
The Gov had no idea what was going on. Stevie's really smart!
Recording

Day Nine - We celebrated ten days in the studio
Recording

Day Ten - Stevie did the Math... We celebrated ten days in the studio on the actual day.
Recording

Day Eleven - Recording
Dylan's almost done, but he wrote a song and wants it on the record. It's call 'Cry Tough'.
We're putting it on the record.
Todd doesn't want it. Asked for one of his.
Overruled

Day Twelve - I overheard the Gov singing 'True' by Spandau Ballet, when making coffee.
Had a very long discussion about the band, upon his return.
Told crazy tour stories to each other.
Recording

Day Thirteen - Recording

Day Fourteen -  Recording

Day Fifteen - Recording

Day Sixteen - I took full control of the soundboard, accidently deleted a track.
Gov was very forgiving, we rerecord it - Turns out I didn't delete it, just took out the guitars.
We laughed about it, but I did feel really guilty about it.
More recording

Day Seventeen - Dylan finished
Kirk and Vikki stopped in
Recording

Day Eighteen - Eddie and I finished
Dylan left the studio early
Recording

Day Nineteen - Stevie finished
I broke four stings
Gov showed me how to fix them
We started to discuss the album track order
Todd was recording

Day Twenty - Dylan wants to cover a song.
We all talked about it.
Eddie, Stevie, Gov and I jammed out to 'I Want Action', as Todd and Dylan took a lunch break.
Decided to cover 'You Don't Mess Around With Jim'.
It's going on the album.
Todd's not happy with us.
Todd's almost finished.

Day Twenty-One - Todd was done.
We all recorded 'You Don't Mess Around With Jim'.
Dylan was finished.
I was finished.
Eddie was finished.
Stevie was finished.
Todd was finished.

Day Twenty Two - Dylan and I met with Gov and Peter Finley, who flew in to see us.
We discussed the track list and we're all agreed.
We were booked for a photoshoot and discussed the album cover.
This was looking colourful!

Day Twenty Three - Gov just noticed I say 'Rock and Roll' a lot. He approves.
Todd was a no show.
We did the shoot without him. We were on a deadline.
We were booked on a tour in two weeks time. Gov got us a rehearsal space. He was going to manage us.
I came to realise just how busy the Gov's life is.

Day Twenty Four - Still no Todd. Everyone's pissed off with him.
Eddie called at the house, but got no reply.
I tried calling, getting nothing back.
We moved to the rehearsal space.
I fell asleep in the backroom, Gov let me stay the night, staying over with me.

Day Twenty Five - Woke up not knowing where I was.
Gov bought me breakfast.
We had a long talk about Todd... We're a promising band, but he's holding us back.
Todd's another no show. We all discussed it.

Day Twenty Six - Todd was back, like nothing ever happened.
We talked to him, but he brushed it off. Dylan was done with his shit.
We were told we'd be opening for Ratt.
Stevie overheard a conversation between Peter and Todd... Todd's broke.

Day Twenty Seven - We met Stephen Pearcy
Not really meeting a idol, but wow! What a great guy!
He really enjoyed 'Talk Dirty To Me'.
Dylan and I discussed making a music video. We talked to the Gov. He agrees it's a good move.
He's gonna sort it out for us.

Day Twenty Eight - We were rehearsing, the album was being mixed, we've picked out an album cover, we've seen some merch designs.
I haven't seen Joe in five days...
I unofficially own Kirk's guitar. He's not asked for it back... Everyone likes the pink.
Minus Todd, we fucking rock!
Eddie talked Maria into coming over. She'll be here tomorrow.

Day Twenty Nine - Kirk, Vikki and Maria were all here, sat on a couch, talking as we agreed on a set list, and fucked about.
Kirk loved the pink and let me keep the guitar. It's officially mine.
Stevie's been given the OK to do a solo, during our set.
By the end of the day, the three amigos fell asleep on the couch, lying on each other.
Eddie put a blanket over them, that was in the back of the mini van.
We all stayed the night in the rehearsal hall.

Day Thirty - We're due on tour tomorrow.
I just finished my packing, triple checking my tour list. It's a tour of America, but a tour is a tour, right?
I walked downstairs, seeing Eddie and Maria watching a movie, in the living room.
Dylan was in the basement, tuning all the guitars he was taking on tour, Kirk was raiding the fridge and Stevie was...

I walked through the living room, back into the hallway.

"Stevie?!" I called up.
"He's meeting his dealer!" Eddie called out to me.
"Who went with him?" I walked into the living room.
"Dylan, I think..." Eddie paused the movie.
"Dylan's downstairs." Kirk walked out the kitchen. "I'm making us both some lunch." He held up the cheese.
Eddie looked at me, and I looked at him.

We both rushed down to the basement, finding Dylan alone. No Stevie.
"You mean he's gone to a deal alone?" I turned to Eddie.
"Oh shit..."
