Walking around the school, we arrive at the greenhouse and open the metal gate. Ruby stands infront of the door, looking at the place.
"I guess I didn't realize how long its been. How much its changed."
She tries to open the door, but it doesnt. She shoulders it a few times.
"Uh, this aint budging." Mitch says.
"You gonna stand there sulking all day or are you gonna do something useful?" Ruby asks him.
Clementine steps forward.
"Well, we need that barbed wire. Theres gotta be another way in. Lets spread out and look around."
Everyone spread out, except Ruby, who was still infront of the door. She looked sad.
"Whats wrong?" I ask.
"I-its been so long since I was here. I used to love this place, but its so overgrown." She looks at it for a while longer, then puts on her usual smile. "I'll be fine. Lets just find a way in."
I return the smile, trying to make her feel better.
On the right side of the building, Clementine tries to peek in through a window.
"Mm, I cant see shit."
"Theres too much condenstion on the inside." Mitch says.
"Condensation. Thats a big word for you." Ruby chuckles.
"Shut up."
Clementine points up to the roof of the greenhouse.
"That window. I bet we can get in there."
The greenhouse had a window open on top, but the ladder leading to it was broken.
"Good spot." Ruby says. "Mitch, come here and give me a boost."
"Wait. Make her go first." He says. "We send the one we dont mind losing."
I roll my eyes. I feel another arguement is about to start.
"Thats an ugly thing to say!" Ruby scolds him.
"Vi said we need her help. She shouldn't mind sticking her neck out."
"Thats you, Mitch." Clementine smirks.
"No. See, cause the people back home want me to survive this little trip."
Ruby breaks it up.
"Lets just get the stuff we need! Okay?"
Clementine looks around, confused.
"Wait, wheres (Y/n)?"
I drop down the window and into the greenhouse.
"Wha- how did he...?" Mitch looks confused.
Ruby shrugs her shoulders, not knowing either.
"What do you see in there?" She calls.
A walker is woken from the noise and starts to get up.
I reach into my bag to pull out my--
Uh oh.
"Uh, guys?"
"Yeah?" Clementine responds.
"Do you see my axe out there?"
"You're saying you forgot your weapon before going into a walker infested greenhouse?" Mitch asks. "Smart."
"Not helpful." I call out.
The walker started to walk towards me.
"Its not out here!" Ruby shouts
