I was scrolling through instagram on my phone with my left hand while petting Pepper with my right. It was quiet apart from the occasional loud laugh from Billie in her own room. With Amber. It hurt hearing them have fun. I was never included. An unexpected knock on my door caught my attention.
Never mind.
"Come in, i guess." I threw my phone in my lap and watched as Amber pushed my door open, Billie behind her.
"How's my favourite person?" Amber squealed annoyingly, coming over to sit on my bed and grab my hands that were resting on my knees. I tilted my head slightly to the side, looking at the girl in front of me.
"That's funny. You pushed me out of the way to get to Eilish earlier." I hummed with a smirk.
Amber blushed in embarrassment and laughed awkwardly, glancing back at Billie who was sitting herself on the edge of my bed.
"Oh, don't be silly, Mia! I did no such thing."
"Yeah, sure." I rolled my eyes subtly.
"Anyway, it was Eilish's idea to come in here." Amber let go of my hands and rubbed her own against her legs. I glared at her.
"Cool." I nodded my head and picked my phone up but Amber grabbed it out of my hand.
"Hey! Give it back!" I groaned, reaching to grab it. The bitch held it above her head and laughed at me.
Billie was quick to react and snatched the phone out of Amber's hand. She held it out to me and i took it, letting my fingers purposefully touch the back of her hand. I could see Amber watching my every move. Billie never moved her eyes from mine.
The things those hands used to do to me.
Stroke against my cheek. Wipe the tears from my face. Touch my swollen lips after kissing. Touch places no one else has ever seen. Just touching me.
"Alright then. Mia. Wanna play a game?" Amber spoke up loudly. Billie put her hands in her lap and looked anywhere but me.
"Why not." I mumbled. I really had nothing better to do.
"Truth or dare?" Amber asked with a smile. I groaned.
"Really? I hate this game. Uh, truth."
"Hm. Have you ever sexted anyone?" Amber smirked at me.
I could feel the sudden intense heat on my cheeks. I glanced at Billie to see her trying to stifle a laugh.
