An Unexpected Visitor

Eren POV:

We talked for a while when he suddenly said, "hold on I got to do something." "Alright," what could he be doing in the middle of the night? while I waited for Levi I heard something climbing up the wall. It was heading to the window.

I quickly got out of bed, grabbed my phone, and went to my closet where I found my bat. I slowly crept toward the window when suddenly Levi's voice came from my headphones, hey brat can you open your window." It scared me shitless.

I let go of my bat, a bit disappointed not being able to use it, and hurriedly went to the window where I saw Levi holding on to the rails. "what are you doing Levi. Do not tell me you just climbed 2 stories to get to my window." 

"I didn't. I just grew wings and flew to your window," he added sarcastically. I helped him up into my room. "WHY THE HELL-" Levi covered my mouth and looked me straight in my eyes "shhh, calm your dumbass down"

I took his hand away from my mouth "that doesn't explain why your here though." I fumed

"Well, I was bored." I gaped at him "just because you were bored doesn't mean you can just waltz into my room, You should be sleeping in your own room. And anyways why couldn't you just go to Hangi or Erwin if you couldn't sleep."

"Shitty glasses is too annoying and besides, she's always talking about her experiments or Sawney and Bean. And Eyebrows acts like a 75-year-old in retirement. So it isn't fun at all." I muffled my laugh.

"Anyway, I find you interesting and I want to get to know you better." 

"What do you mean, you find me interesting and you want to know me better? I'm just an ordinary person other than I'm gay but nothing special here."

He looked at me like I said I was a unicorn or some shit. "YoU'rE gAy As WeLl?!" He gasped and covered his mouth as soon as the words slipped out.

"I guess we are getting to know each other better." Trying to make it less awkward.

"So can I stay over?" I rolled my eyes at him. He faced me, his face pleading with me to let him stay "well of course..." his eyes showed a bit of happiness "NOT" I added.

He made This adorable pouting face even he didn't know he could do. I got a nosebleed and rushed to the bathroom. 

When I got back he asked if I was ok and I told him I was fine.

"I also kinda told my mother that I was staying over here so yea." He was rubbing the back of his neck which I thought was cute. "Fine you can stay"

I looked at him and noticed that he had only a T-shirt on and sweats he also brought his clothes and backpack for tomorrow. "you didn't bring anything else?"

"How would I be able to climb up your wall if I had a bunch of stuff with me." He said while putting his stuff in the corner of the room. He then plopped himself on my bed.

"So I have a question for you Levi." he glanced up at me "spit it brat." "I was wondering why you told me about the lover thing." He looked confused at me. "why wouldn't I?" 

"It's just that I thought that since we always got into fights and all that, you would try to push it away and never speak of it again," I said timidly. 

He softened his expression. "I know that we've been enemies for a long time now but I'm tired of that so I want to start it off again the right way."

My heart fluttered at the sound of that. He really is different from my father and ex. He actually cares. 

"So, where am I going to sleep?" I instantly spoke. "On the floor." He looked disappointed. "ok." He got off my bed and laid on the floor.

I got on my bed and glanced at him. "you can never take a joke." I said under my breath. "y'know I was joking right, Levi. If you want, I guess, you can sleep with me." I said a little louder. He got up from the floor and thanked me before getting into the bed with me. "It's chilly, and you have a very thin blanket." 

I stared at him in utter disbelief. "Shut up. At least be grateful that I let you on my bed." He quieted down and went to sleep. 

Later that night I woke up. My teeth chattering loudly. Levi woke up sleepily because of all my chattering and pulled me towards him. 

He was so warm. I snuggled closer to him and I could feel his arms tighten around me. I buried my face into his chest. As I breathed I took a whiff of his scent. He smelled like tea and cleaning supplies. 

As I laid there in his arms listening to the rhythm of his heartbeat. I knew exactly why fate put us together. It was because even if we had a rocky start and that trouble came along the way to try to break us apart. We would always be there for one another And nothing would ever change that.
