The residents of the house were all ignoring each other and Jace was confused. He didn't know what was so wrong that his big brother refused to even acknowledge their parents, and he didn't know why his parents were avoiding each other. At breakfast, despite his best efforts to get them to talk to each other, they only talked with him, and barely at that. Knowing that something must be really wrong, he decided that he would surprise all of them with something at dinner. He just had to figure out what that was.

He started with the obvious ideas like baking a cake, but he knew that his mom cried whenever she made cake, so that wouldn't work. He could put music on and make his mother dance, but what about the other two? He could declare it a movie night and make his special popcorn for everyone, but they would all come up with excuses to get out of it. He was stumped. He just couldn't figure out how to cheer everyone up, so they will start talking to each other again.

Mark on the other hand, was planning a huge surprise and he couldn't wait to the devastation his surprise caused. He was going to break his parents in two and he wouldn't care if they even died of shock. Right now he's at the private airstrip the family runs, waiting for the arrival of 8 planes. Each plane held only one passenger, but the trip was worth it. The group was trying to race to see who could get there first after having dropped their other passengers in various parts of the world.

The first plane to land held Jasmine, the fastest in any vehicle ever known at the school. Second came Tiger, known for her wicked skill. They all continued arriving, until only one more remained, Galaxy. She had made several stops and had a meeting, so she landed about an hour after the rest of them.

The second she stepped foot off the plane stairs, she was engulfed in a hug. Mark could not wait a second more to hug his little sister. He had so little time when they were younger and had spent most of it jealous that she had stolen all of the attention, so he wanted to make the most of being together again. She was shocked at first, but melted into his hug.

When they had rejoined the group, Jasmine started chanting, "I beat you, I beat you."

Galaxy looked at her as serious as possible, "Oh were we racing? I guess I shouldn't have stopped for that two hour meeting with Zhang Wei's boss then huh?" As Jasmine's face fell slack at the realization Galaxy could have won if she really wanted to, she burst out laughing, "Sorry Jazz."

Everyone looks at Jasmine in sympathy, but she shrugs it off. "Now where are our rides?"

Mark rubs the back of his head sheepishly, "I thought it would just be the four of you, so I only brought one car, but I gave a buddy a call and he should be here soon with another two so we can all be comfortable."

Galaxy nods her head, looking to her brother she asks the question that's been plaguing her since she dropped off her last group, "So what kind of shit show are we walking into?"

"Let's just say it's the worst I've ever seen and they still think you're dead." Mark replies with a note of fear.

Galaxy sensing the fear in his voice says, "Well if they don't get their shit together quickly, then I'll just kill them both and be done with it."

The fear travels into his face as he looks at the seriousness that is his sister. "Please don't he refuses to sign the mafia over to me, so I can't take over or give it to you until he does. Right now it goes to Uncle Sam." (A/N Yes I did this on purpose)

Grudgingly Galaxy agrees, moving onto another subject, "Do we have room for them or should I find them a place while we wait?"

"We have room for 3 of them, but the rest will probably need their own place." Mark states matter-of-factly.
