I looked at both of them "A step sister - why would you guys hide this".
"You father didn't know until recently,his girlfriend from high fell pregnant and left without telling him " My mom replied.
"Was that before he met you " I asked.
"before " my dad replied quickly.
"please be nice to her and make her feel welcomed "my mom asked me.
"Fine " I replied hugging my dad.
"Don't keep important things from me " I said looking at both my parents. I smiled and made my way to my room the only thing on my mind right now was sleep , I walked in and saw my new step sister sitting on my bed , she smiled and got up.
"hey I'm hope " she extened her hand . I shaked it and smiled " im sorry you mom told me to sleep in your room until you got back from your trip " she said in a British accent.
"Yeah " I replied ,I didn't know what else to say to her , I stood there smiling at her like an idiot waiting for her to leave my room
" oh im going give you some space I think we going to get along well "she smiled grabbing her books that were on my bed and walked out . I layed on my bed and closed my eyes.

it has been two weeks since hope has been staying with us she seem to have warmed up to my parents just fine , my mom spend more time with her then me but hey atleast she has someone to go shopping with. This was the last week of our summer break and I decided to spend it in my room watching crime investigations fun right. I sat in the living room
alone since my mom took keisha out to show her around and my dad and gone on other business trip.
I heard a knock on the door on my way to get more snacks . I sighed and went to get the door, who could be disturbing me right now . I opened the door to see Sebastian standing there with flowers in his hands.
"what you doing here " I asked making way for him to come inside, he stepped in and smiled
" I want you to come with me somewhere " he asked.
"where too as you can see - "
"I can see you have nothing to do but watch tv so come on ".
"can you at least tell me where we going " I asked.
"No " he replied.
"Are these for me " I smiled reaching for you the flowers .
"Yeah " he replied handing them to me.
"thanks ,you can leave them on the kitchen table - I'm gonna grab something upstairs" I quickly mad my way upstairs , why would he bring me flowers., does he like me,no it can be he made it clear I'm not his type maybe his just trying to be friendly for once.
"can you now tell me where we going since you just ask me out now -wait is this date " I asked fixing my hair in his car mirror.
"No - do you have an off button ".
I turn to looked at him frowning.
"sorry " he quickly said "that was suppose to be a joke ".
"say it again " I smirked looking at him , he shaked his head and drove on, we later found ourselves parked in the middle of nowhere . we sat in silence as he closed his eyes sighing.
"I got you something " he said handing me a letter.
"what's this " I asked about to open it
"Don't open it now - open it when you get home " he replied.
"Why can't I just open it here " .
"because just please open it when you are alone " .
"Fine only because you said please " I replied putting the letter in my pocket .
" You ready to go back to school " he asked.
"No - thinking about all those tests and assignments is hurting my head " I held my head in my hands.
"You so dramatic " he laughed " You ever thought of acting " .
" I don't know law is more of my thing my dad said I should do it because I talk alot , do i talk alot "I asked .
"Do you really want me to answer " .
I sat back in my seat and rolled my eyes " You wonder why you don't have any friends "
" I do not need friends " he replied.
"You really going to die all alone "
"There is nothing wrong with that ".
I shaked my head at him " You sad old man can You taking me home it's getting late ".
