CHAPTER 10 - you owe me one

Today was my first day back at school and like every other day I didn't want to be back here.As I made my way to the locker everyone turn to look at me ,do I have something on my face .I got my books for the first lessons and as I closed my locker there jaden was standing leaning against the locker next to Me .

"You really need to stop popping out of nowhere its creepy " I said

"How is it creepy we go to the same school you are going to see me one way or other " He replied winking at me .

"Anyways - Thanks for the flowers " I said making my way to class

"Flowers- "

"The ones you sent me a week ego with that cute letter " I asked turning to look at him .

"Oh yeah that - yeah thought you might like them , how is your arm by the way " he replied .

"It's doing much better first time getting shot and it was great " I said in a sarcastic tone .

"You really funny " he said laughing as we got to my first class which was history .

"Do you mind telling me why everyone at school is looking at me " I asked him .

" they miss you " he replied .

"Stop lying " I said punching his arm .

" Look- " before he called finish his sentence the bell went off for the start of first period.

"Go on " I Said hugging my books against my chest.

"Eric told me not to tell you anything he said he sort it out " .

"Is it that bad " I asked him , what could have been said that everyone at school is talking about me half of them don't even know me .

"No - if I spill Eric kills me and you know he already kicked my ass for taking you to the club " .

"Fine I will ask him myself " I replied making my into the class.

I went and sat at my usual seat which was at the back, the lesson started as the teacher walked when . I zoned out until a heard the chair beside me move , I turn to see Sebastian taking a seat next to me ., I took a long look at him and then looked back in front of me and started taking notes.

" Is your arm doing better now " he asked ,I said nothing and continued taking down my notices " I'm talking to you " he hissed at me.

I said nothing through the whole lesson. I took my phone out to check how many more minutes till this lesson was going to be over, 20 more minutes someone please knock me out already.

" everyone get up and get out now " I turn to see Sebastian in front of the class pointing to the door. Everyone said nothing and took they bags and left including the teacher, I got up and grabbed my bag as I was about to leave Sebastian grabbed me by my hand and locked the door. I looked at him and took a seat by the teachers table and took out my phone.

"When I'm talking to someone they listen " . Sebastian grabbed my phone and held it in his hand.

"Oh what - what you gonna do ".

" I asked you a question and you suppose to answer ".

"My arm is fine Sebastian maybe you would know if you did not disappear after you were the reason why I got shot ".

"At least I took you to the damn hospitals ".

"Are you mad or sick up your damn head - cut the crap " I say getting up and looking up at him " you screwed up by grabbing me out of that club without my permission and you also screwed up when I got shot and you left me at the hospital " sebastian tried to talk but I cut him off by putting my hand up to his face , even though my hand is like super small at least I look intimidating enough ." You owe me one and that's it ".

"What - who do you think you are " he replied slamming his fist on one of the desks.

"Rivier Coleman your worst  nightmare " I replied as the bell went off I grabbed phone out of his hand took my bag and walked out the class.

It was break time and I was sitting on the benches waiting for Eric to finish practice .

" What you thinking about " Eric ask as he sat next to me dripping in sweat

"Ice cream- do you have something to tell me " I replied turning to look at him.

"Nope nothing to spill here " he says grabbing the bottle of water and drinking from it.

"I think you do maybe you minding telling me why everywhere I go In this damn school people are looking at me " I asked him in a angry tone.

"Gosh its nothing big I already took care of it " he replied .

"Just tell me Eric I'm gonna find out one way or other - today is not the you would want to lie to me " I say getting up from the bench.

There was a long silence before Eric answered me " Samantha been telling everyone at school you went to the club got drunk and left with a guy to go sleep with him and ended up getting shot ".

"That's it - wait that's all she said and you were keeping this from me why " I ask.

" thought you would be mad or worse sad " he said with his hands up.

"I'm not that weak plus at this point I'm done caring about what people think ". I say as I pick up my bag and water bottle .

"Can I say I'm a proud dad " Eric say pulling me into a hug.

"Ohk I think we need to get you to a shower " I say pushing him away and laughing.
