I walked faster when I saw the white door that I was supposed to have gone through not long ago. I glanced at my wrist and shook it. My new watch made a hologram of the time. 12.03. Three minutes late, it wasn't that bad, I would just say that someone else was using the elevator so I had to take a detour.

When I finally reached the door, I swung it open without hesitating. Just as I was about to ramble about why I was late, I noticed that my psychiatrist wasn't alone.

"Mother fúcking Louis," I muttered under my breath.

"Hello," Louis smiled as he and Lena turned around to face me.

"Was I interrupting something?" I asked, feeling my cheeks heat up. Louis said he would contact me, but it had been two weeks and he still hadn't said a word to me since he told me his secrets.

"No, you weren't, Louis was just leaving," Lena said and slightly pushed Louis with her shoulder. Clearly there was some tension between them.

Louis began walking out and I came into the room so that he would have space to leave.

"Let me just talk with Valentina and then she can have her appointment," Louis said. I glared at him while looking elsewhere.

He walked out and I reluctantly followed him, feeling annoyed and pissed.

"What?" I asked. "Where have you been?"

"I'm just here to inform you, I've been busy," he told me.

"Okay, so what happened? Why do I need to be informed?"

"First of all, you need to be careful with any social media. Don't have any accounts with your name, credit card, or number on it. People who want to hunt you down will find you easily. I also changed the Mac address for all of your devices," he explained.

"I've been doing all that since I arrived here, what else is new?" I asked, bored ever since he started talking.

"Look, I just want you to know that you're getting stalked, you need to be careful," he said.

"I know, I was close to taking a PhD exam for computer science until I was kidnapped," I replied, keeping it as simple as I could instead of rambling because of how nervous I was.

I saw from the corner of my eye how his fist clenched.

"This is serious, you have to keep a low profile," he told me, and brought his hand up to hold onto my shoulder. I still didn't understand how Louis was okay with all this physical contact he was giving me. It felt awkward and I wanted him to stop.

"Okay, okay," I told him, shifting my shoulder down so that he would let go, which he gladly did. "What else did you have to say to me?"

"About training, you have to start learning soon," Louis said.

"Yeah, when do I start?" I asked.
