My reflexes had never been fast enough before. My heart raced with the thought of escaping after such a long time in captivity.

As soon as I stepped out of the door, Louis stood next to it, he had just turned away from his phone when I swung the towel rack as hard as I could and I hit his head with a satisfying crack.

Louis' body crumpled to the ground and I knew that he would only stay knocked out for quite a bit. He might even start bleeding, I didn't care.

I grabbed Louis' unlocked phone and put it in my sweatpants pocket. My hands searched Louis for any weapons I could use. I only found a pistol, half loaded, and a small knife. I figured it would be enough. Then I took his hoodie and put it on with the hood up so that I could have a more decent top to match the sweatpants I got.

When I was done, I threw the the towel rack to the floor since I had better weapons. Then I got out of the room as fast as I could and shut the door behind me, hoping it locked him inside of there like how I was locked in there when he closed the door.

The light outside was really bright, it took me a bit to adjust to it, but as soon as I had, I was finally able to see my surroundings.

What I saw was quite a surprise.

I thought it was just a house or home that belonged to Louis, but I was far off.

The cell I had been in was part of a long corridor, with many other doors, identical to mine. I began thinking that there were other people captive, but I knew I didn't have time to save them.

Instead, I walked as quickly as I could away from the dead end of the hall. My head was pounding and my legs hurt, but I kept going, this was my only way out. I was on the constant lookout for people and I made sure I didn't go in to corridors with dead ends.

This place seemed like an endless maze. I kept walking but I never ended up anywhere, it was like I was in the basement of a hospital but there were no exit signs. The facility must have been a huge warehouse, or something.

When I spotted a bathroom for girls, I went in as quickly as I could. Luckily, no one was inside so I was able to drink some water and use the phone I stole from Louis. The phone was still unlocked and I went to the phone app and went to call 999.

"What is your emergency?" the other end asked after at least eleven rings.

"I don't know where I am, and I don't know how I can get out of here, but I've been kidnapped and I need to get out," I explained, making sure the woman understood.

"I see, I can track where you are, but in order for me to help you, you need to be further away from the center of the base, I have directions on how to do that," the woman explained.

"Wait, how do you know where I am?" I wondered.

There was a long pause.

"Trust me, everyone knows this place, even I do," she explained. "Now, remember these instructions. Get out from where you are, and take a right, then walk past two cross points, and on the third one take a left. Afterwards, go up one flight of stairs and go to your left side, then you'll walk through a long passageway, I'll know when you get there and I'll call you back for further instructions."

It took a few times for me to remember all the instructions, but when I remembered them, I hung up and starting going the way she wanted me to.
