i frown as we enter the emergency room parking lot, i was 6 months pregnant and my water just broke.
i was from canada and wanted the baby to be born here, but we had just came to visit my family for Christmas, and now they had decided to come? great. i mean im not complaining, sure i was scared but i was really excited to meet them.
"hey don't be sad love, they just want out" vinnie says helping me out of the car as we finally found a parking spot somewhat close to the hospital.
"i know but we won't get to hold them for a while or take them home for months" i say and he takes my hand rubbing my knuckles with his thumb.
"well all we can do is pray and watch them be a bad ass like their mom" vinnie says and i smile kissing his cheek, he sure as hell knew how to make the best of every situation.

"alright (y/n) this is your last chance do you want the epidural?" the doctor asks entering my room fully ready to birth my baby.
"no i don't want the drugs just get them out of me please" i cry in pain throwing my head back, vinnie holds my hand rubbing my knuckles as the pain gets worse.
"them?" she asks looking at vinnie, "we haven't found out the gender yet" he says and she nods smiling as she gets herself ready.
the nurse hands vinnie's the gown and hair net that he has to wear if he's in the room with me, he excitedly puts it on washing his hands as he finishes.
"you ready baby?" he asks as our foreheads rest against each-others he places a kiss to my lips as i nod, "i guess so" i whine and he nods taking my hand in his.
"alright mom we're gonna need you to try pushing" the doctor says and i do so, i squeeze his hand making him wince.
"you don't get to wince when you cause this vincent" i say glaring at him as another contraction hits he nods shocked.
"alright the baby is almost out just a couple more alright?" she says and i groan letting a cry out as the pain grows, vinnie pushing my hair back making me whince, as soon as crys filled the room i froze turning to vinnie, "thats our baby?" i ask and he nods smiling excited.
they take the baby away not letting me see them, "wait- my baby let me see my baby" i cry trying to sit up they rush her away, another doctor comes in.
"its okay, she's okay we're getting her some air so she can breathe alright?" the new doctor says and i nod nervously, "wait its a girl?" i ask and the nurse nods making me smile at vinnie, "its a babygirl" he says kissing my lips.
they eventually get her breathing and soon bring her over in the incubator, "she's so pretty" i say staring into the incubator, staring at me and vinnies baby.
"she needs a name baby" vinnie says whispering in my ear, i nod thinking of a good name, we hadn't really thought about it.
"What about Alexis maria hacker" i suggest as i combined pur moms names and he nods, "i love it" he says and i nod letting her grab my finger with her hand.
