"I imagine why we have to be here. To see if the next generation could fix their parents' problems."
"Blossom, be nice. Prince Ben wants us to make friends with them." I smacked her arm.
"There they are. Ready to face the woman's son that haunts your nightmares, Sophie?" Blossom teased.
I shuddered, then straightened myself. "He's probably not like her."
The limo came into view, and the band played. Blossom held up a sign boredly. She sighed, dropping it before walking away.
"Wait, what are you-"
"I'm not doing this. They're going to flirt, Sophie, you know this. I'm going back to the dorms. I'll see you later," Blossom said, walking away.
I huffed before walking over to Prince Ben. The band played loudly in front of us before I heard a discrete scream. The band stopped abruptly as two boys fought over a blanket. Two girls also stepped out of the limo, surveying the crowd.
"You got everything else! Why do you want whatever this is?"
"Because you want it!"
I watched amusedly as the boys fought over the cloth. Fairy Godmother broke through the band as Ben looked at me.
"Are you ready to do this?" Ben asked.
"Of course, Prince Ben." I nodded, fixing the clip that held my ponytail to the back of my head.
"Leave it like you found it. And by that, I mean just leave it," Fairy Godmother explained.
"Hello, foxy," a boy with long hair walked up to Audrey.
I stopped him politely. "And you are?"
"Jay," he smirked.
"Jafar's son? Welcome to Auradon Prep!" I said cheerfully.
"I'm Fairy Godmother, headmistress," Fairy Godmother explained.
"The Fairy Godmother? As in bibbidi-bobbidi-boo?" the purple-haired girl asked.
"Bibbidi-bobbidi, you know it," Fairy Godmother said as I smiled sweetly.
"Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared out of nowhere, with that sparkly wand and warm smile... and that sparkly wand," the girl explained.
"That was a long time ago. And as I always say, "don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future"," Fairy Godmother explained.
"It's so good to finally meet you all. I'm Ben," Prince Ben introduced himself.
"Prince Benjamin, soon to be King," Audrey corrected him, making me want to roll my eyes.
"You had me at Prince." The blue-haired girl stepped forward. "My Mom's a Queen, which makes me a princess."
"The Evil Queen has no royal status here. And neither do you," Audrey said.
"Audrey, don't be rude," I cut her off. "Evie, nice to meet you."
"Thank you." She smiled slightly.
"This is Audrey," Prince Ben sighed.
"Princess Audrey, his girlfriend. Right, Bennyboo?" Audrey corrected him again.
"Ben, Audrey, and Sophia are going to show you all around, and I'll see you tomorrow. The doors of wisdom are never shut! But the library hours are from eight to eleven, and we have heard a little thing about curfews," Fairy Godmother said before walking away.
