Kitty POV: it's okay. Just open the door. No need to panic. You can just open it and walk out. I shake it off and push the door open.
"What were you up to then?" Cathy asks, walking past me.
"Trying to put the coat racks up"
"Need a hand?" I shake my head.
"Nah I'm okay. Thanks though" I get them put up and then head up to my room. I don't even know what I want to do now. I guess nap? Or read? Ugh why is it so hard to think right now? I flop down on my bed and see a note under my pillow.
Kat huh?
Stop trying to pretend you're smart and useful. Slut. You deserved it all. It was all your fault too. It'll never be different.
I start crying and run downstairs to Jane, showing her the note.
"Hey what's wrong?" Anna asks, walking in and looking at the note.
"Right I don't know who the fuck you are but stop bloody picking on Kitty you absolute piece of crap!" She yells and I put my hands over my ears.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to yell so loud" she says softly, holding out a packet of tissues and a chocolate bar to me.
"Let's get takeout. You'd love McDonald's Kitty" she says and Jane nods.
"Okay fine takeout it is" she says. I quickly wipe my eyes and then start eating the chocolate, giving Anna half of it.
"Heh. Thanks Kitty" she says and I smile a little. We sit in silence eating our chocolate and then Anna stands up.
"Wanna go for a walk before dinner?" She asks and I nod, standing up.
"Are you two going out?" Jane calls and Anna nods. Then remembers Jane us in the other room.
"Yeah just for a quick walk while we wait for the Uber guy"
"What'll you guys have?"
"I'll have a Big Mac meal with a milkshake please"
"Anna what do they have there?"
"Burgers. Chicken nuggets-"
"Chicken nuggets?" Anna nods
"Yeah. Wanna get a box of 20 to share instead?"
"Yes please"
"Jane can me and Kitty share a 20 nuggets and large fries?"
"Sure thing! What drink?"
"The strawberry milkshakes are yummy" Anna whispers.
"I'll have one of those then"
"Two strawberry milkshakes please Jane" she says as we walk out the door. We go down the road to the park and just wander around until we find a hidden little playground. It was completely empty.

"Anna?" She's giving me the look.
"You wanna go on the swings don't you?" I say and Kitty nods.
"How'd you guess?"
"I just know you very well" I say, opening the gate and letting her in ahead of me. She makes a beeline for the swings and I follow, my hands in my pockets.
"Anna can you push me?"
"Are you sure?"
"I trust you" she says softly and I nod, starting to push her. The only sound filling the air is her giggles as she swings higher and higher.
"Having fun?"
"Yeah!" After a while she gestures for me to stop and once I stop the swing she jumps off and runs to the climbing frame.
"Anna come race me up!" I grin and run over.
"Ready?" She nods.
"Go!" We start climbing and she's like a little monkey. She just shoots up and perches at the top swinging her legs. I join her and we just sit there side by side watching the sunset.
"I like it here" she says softly and I smile.
"Me too. But we should head back. I'm sure the food will be here soon" we climb down and get to the house just as the delivery guy is leaving.
"Oh perfect timing!" Jane says as we walk in. I sit down and Kitty sits beside me as Jane gives everyone their food.
"They smell nice" Kitty says, taking a tentative bite of a chicken nugget.
"Whoa"
"They're good right?" She nods and tries one with some ketchup.
"Even better!" I smile at her cuteness and keep eating. After dinner it's movie time and Kitty surprises us all by leaning against me and pulling my arm around her shoulders.
"Wow that's a big jump there" Jane says and Kitty smiles.
"I trust Anna. I've known her longest. She won't hurt me. And I know you guys won't either but Anna's always been my best friend in the whole world" she says and I smile. She's too precious
