Anna POV: we finish our food just as the gate opens. I throw our stuff away and we make our way to the queue. This would be fun. We hand our boarding passes to the lady there and walk through some weird tunnel thing to the plane. Row 8 seats A and B. We find our seats and settle down. More people board and lucky us, we had a free seat beside us. (I'm basing this off of planes I've been on where there's a 3 seats, aisle, 3 seats structure. Never been on any other type so it's easier this way) and soon enough it's time to go. I hold Kitty's hand as the plane takes off. She was scared of planes? If she was then why was she doing this for me? Definitely wasn't anything romantic. We were friends. Even if I wanted to be more, I was willing to wait forever if that made Kitty comfortable. Soon enough we're in the air. We play some games together that Jane had packed for us for during the flight and when we got there in case we get stuck inside due to weather. Kitty gets cold so I hand her the hoodie I was wearing.
"I'm too warm. Take it" I help Kitty put it on and we go back to playing games. When the flight attendant- a guy one- comes around with the snack cart, I does the talking when Kitty shrinks behind me, clearly terrified.
"Two sour cream and onion Pringles, 2 cokes, 2 dairy milks and a bag of sour gummy worms please" I pay and we dig into the best lunch ever.
"Jane would literally kill us" I mutter and Kitty manages a small giggle, still weary of the flight attendant.
"Hey if he tries anything I'll kick his ass okay?" I whisper, gently squeezing her hand. Kitty smiles at this and nods.
"Okay. Also let's not tell Jane we ate chocolate, fizzy drinks, Pringles and sour worms for lunch"
"Agreed. I think she'd be more mad at me for letting you eat like this"
"I wouldn't let her hurt you. I'd tell her I did the face and you caved. She caves too so she can't be mad then" Kitty says and I laugh.
"Thanks Kitty"Time skip
We had arrived. I keep Kitty close to me as we head to the bus that'd take us to the hotel. When we check in and go to the room there's only one bed.
"Well that's convenient"
"We could always share. I trust you" Kitty says and I smile a little. Trust for Kitty was huge. If you had her trust then you were really important to her.
"Wanna rest for now and go exploring tomorrow?" I had paid extra for use of the tv and mini bar so we had everything we needed. Kitty nods and flops down on the bed with a yawn. I just sit beside her and chuckle.
"Let's get room service ja? Save you from getting up again"
"Okay" Kitty mumbles, her eyes starting to close.
"I'll wake you when it gets here" luckily we'd chosen to wear loose comfy clothes so all I had to do was tuck Kitty in and start looking for stuff for us to do. There were some museums which would be fun. And...home. I could go for a tour there. Or at least to show Kitty where I grew up. I tear up a little bit as I make a list of places we could go over the 2 weeks.Time skip
It had started raining raining. Heavily. I click through channel after channel before a knock on the door snaps me back into reality.
"Room service!" I gently shake Kitty and then goes to get the food, wheeling the cart in just as she wakes up.
"Hey sleeping beauty"
"Food time?"
"Yeah. Food time" I help her sit up and lay out the food.***
Kitty POV: I feel my heart speed up when Anna helps me sit up. I had a crush on her. A huge one. We sit in comfortable silence eating and watching mean girls. I finish first and lean against Anna who stiffens but then relaxes.
"Anna..I like you. Like a lot" I say it before I could stop myself.
"Wait what?"
"It's just...you're different. You're kind and caring and you just want friendship and nothing more but I just...I really really like you"
"I like you too. I just didn't want to say anything because I wanted you to feel comfortable and feel safe"
"That's it! That's exactly why you're different. A good different" I was blushing now and Anna was looking at me.
"Can...can I kiss you?" She whispers and I nod. I'd been dreaming of this. Anna leans in and kisses me. Slow and gentle. And loving. There was nothing else behind it. No want. No forcefulness. No demands of going further. This time really was different.(Ohohoho two chapters in one day let's gooooooooo)
