Chapter 34 : Always

Y/N POV

Even if Techno can be cocky at times, being stuck with him isn't all that bad. You yearned for the companionship of a friend or simply someone who was there for you. You were assisting Techno with his potato farm. It was weird for a blood god to have this some sort of addiction to potatoes that you didn't even knew exist.

He claimed to have several potato farms and that he continues to produce more for some mysterious purpose that he would not tell. You didn't question further, so you went onto your planting of potatoes. I'm not sure how long it's been, maybe two week? after being drugged by that jerk. It did have an impact on you, although you didn't even know why.

You were eventually finished after a few hours. You were drained. You were watching him put away potato sacks from a bench in front of his farm. How can he manage to do all by himself? You were perplexed. And though you were an Ember, you were still half-human and get exhausted easily, while the pink-haired guy who was still working on his farm is a complete human and seems to be unfazed.

"You tired already? weak." you rolled your eyes. Sometimes you wish you could kill him now but I guess you already considered him as a friend so there was no way you could.

"Yes, I am tired. Can we go now? Its almost sundown" you whined. You were tired so its best if you go now and take a break.

He sighs and nods as he places the last sack on the ground. Both of you enter the house. You didn't bother coming to dinner with him; instead, you took some bread from the chest and went to your room. You expected to spend the night in a cell, but you annoyed him enough that he reconsidered his decision.

You take a bite of bread as you shut the door behind you. You take a seat by the window. As the sun sets, you sat there watching. This was one of your favorite sights. It brightened your otherwise gloomy days. For the first time in two weeks, your eyes begin to burn. In the corner of your eye, you saw small sparks. When you turn around, you see Alea's brows furrowed as she looks around.

She wants to know, "Where are we?" A slight chuckle escapes your lips. "It seems that I missed a lot." "You did," you says with a smile. You agree. You sat down on your bed after finishing your bread. She takes a seat next to you. You spoke up just as she was about to say something.

"I was drugged and brought here by a Dream. We're currently sharing a cabin with Technoblade, a well-known blood god." You illustrate "Where were you these past few weeks and days?" you ask back as she stiffens up. "I was looking for the one who took the ender dragon's egg but I still haven't found it," she states with an unsure chuckle.

You'd gotten to the point where you could read her but weren't sure whether she was telling the truth or lying. You were frustrated by it, but you didn't show it. You respond with a nod. She said she needed to keep searching for it so you could reclaim your lost world. As the sparks that were floating around disappeared, your eyes started to cool.

You let out a sigh. You heard metal falling down the stairwell. You automatically swing the door open and sprint after the smashing noise. You exhaled a sigh of relief as you realized it was Techno who had dropped the iron armor? You give him a puzzled expression.

"Can you tell me what you're doing?" You question him. He takes the armor from the ground and places it in his inventory. "Nothing, just a few things," He answers directly. He apologizes and asks, "Did I wake you?" With a shake of your head, you expressed your disagreement with the situation "No, not at all. Why are you dressed as if you're going to serve in a war?" You question jokingly, but He was really going to fight in a 'war.'

"I'm only going to be gone for a few months." You furrow your brows. A few months? What is the reason for this? "What do you mean?" With a confused look on your lips, you inquire. He lets out a sigh "Don't worry, you'll be fine for a few months on your own. You'll be safe here, and there's plenty of foo-"

"Where are you going exactly?" you interrupt him. Now you were definitely really suspicious of him.

"I'm just going to meet up with some old friends and help them a little." He reasoned. It was no use in arguing with him so you just let it slide for the meantime.

You leave the room with a nod. You make your way up the stairs to your room. You sighed as you shut the door. If he's not going to tell you, you'll have to figure it out for yourself.

You remove your gaze and close your eyes. Your whole body felt warm and heaten up. You make a fist of your hands and focus on the ground. You take a step forward. Your hair and eyes are turning bluish purple and pinkish purple. You extend your hand. When you un-ball your fists, you build a crystal from nothing.

The crystal was clear but had a mixed color of red and pink in the middle. It was floating above your open hand. This is what you needed to know where he was. You felt him go out from the room. You automatically let the crystal float on its own and controlled it. You made it glide through the hallways to Techno. You feel him exit the door. You make the crystal land in the middle of the gem on his cape as he closes his eyes. It was placed in the matter of seconds.

Its Done.

You just need to wait until he reaches his destination. You make another identical crystal. It was connected to the one on Techno. This crystal will glow when he reaches his destination.

No matter how many times you hide a secret from me. I will always find a way to find out. You lay down on your bed and let your mind drift of to sleep.
