Chapter 40 :It stays in the Pit

Tommy's POV (I told you it was a surprise ;))

I watch as Techno launches the fireworks at Tubbo, my bestfriend. Me and Wilbur rush in different directions. The fireworks whiplashed Y/n Y/n causing her to hit the ground. Cries and yells of my name was heard as a people chased me and Techno.

EVERYONE GET TOMMY!

TOMMY IS HERE?!

SOMEONE GET HIM!

TUBBO! HE'S DEAD!

The last one was a cry from Niki. A tear fell down my cheek. I quickly wipe it away and knelt down beside Y/n, who was bleeding on the ground. Her eyes were faint glowing causing you to be taken aback a little but didn't pay attention to it much.

"Y/n you gotta stay with me here. We need to go now!" You say trying to make her stand but she groaned causing you to let go again and made her fall. Techno arrived.

"Uh-guys we need to go like right now-Quackity and everyone else is chasing us."

"That's already obvious Techno! Now help me lift her up!" I scoffed trying to lift her up. Techno pushed me aside and lifted her up, bridal style. We both ran for our lives.

We ran to the exit where Wilbur was. Niki was beside him.

"HURRY UP!" he yelled as people started to catch up to us. When we reached them we all started to flee for our lives. We ran for a few minutes as the yelling and footsteps started to fade away. We eventually stopped when we reached Pogtopia. We all try to catch our breath while Techno puts Y/n who was unconscious on a bed.

We all stood there quiet for a second. until I decided to break the silence.

"What the actual fuck just happened?" I cursed looking at Techno.

"What?" I look at him in disbelief. Is he actually fucking dead serious right now?

"Techno, you were suppose to be on our side." Wilbur stated still catching his breath.

"Technoblade, You killed Tubbo" I spat like venom

"I-listen, I am on your side, alright. I couldn't just jeopardize-"

"What do you mean your on our side?! You just murdered Tubbo in front of everyone!-" He yelled cutting him off.

"-At the president's command! You-" I pointed a finger at him stepping forward but Wilbur spoke up before I could say anything.

"No no no no-wait-this is-let me make a point!" he paused for a moment while we all waited for what he was going to say.

"This is perfect. Look Tommy, this is perfect, this is absolutely magnificent!" I stared at him puzzled as he continued "Do you know why this magnificent Tommy?"

"Why" I asked

"Because now it-it's exactly what I said! No one's on our side Tommy!" What?-no, this is-this-

"Tommy, everyone's listening to whoever has the most power, no one cares-no one has any honor here. everyone is just doing a what they're told."

"Wilbur-don't say that. We still have Niki and Y/n-yes, Y/n. Y/n's the only person who actually tried to stop this bastard from killing Tubbo and who actually stuck around." I gestured to Techno then Tubbo.

"Look man, Tommy you can choose to not forgive Technoblade all you want but i'm telling you now he knows he's doing." I furrow my brows.

"Well, I don't. Technoblade, he just fucking murdered him right in front of me-of us without a second thought and you think I just basically forgive like that?"

"Well, to be fair I was under a great amount of peer pressure so like-"

"So wh-what? you just bent to peer pressure?" I asked in an acrimonious way possible.

"Yes, Immediately." Wilbur let's out a long dry laugh causing us to look weirdly at him.

"What's so funny?" Tubbo asks

"Its just exactly-it's just exactly as I predicted. This is-this is all just a travesty." I mentally face palmed.

After that umm-unexpected scene Wil created, it was just pure silence. You just star-no glared at Technoblade the whole time. I was obviously pissed and angry well-Wilbur was narrating my every move so it was definitely obvious.

"To-tommy say something-say something" Wilbur cheered, impatient with the tension that was in the air in between me and techno

"Why'd you kill him Techno? What's wrong with you?" I spat.

"Uh-a lot of things really uh-I really have a bad attention span, I'm bad at conversation and i really don't deal with social interactions well-i might have just committed tax fraud recentl-"

"Techno! what the fuck are you talking-You killed tubbo-you killed him when you are asked to by the president-AND ITS NOT EVEN YOUR PRESIDENT-ITS JUST SOME-SOME INSANE GUY-SUPERVILLAIN." I yell at him causing everyone to step back including Techno cause of the sound.

"look I-if I didn't follow their orders-there were like 20 dudes there that would've jumped me Tommy-"

"You could litterally fly!-"

"It wasn't raining tommy! I can only fly in the rain Tommy!"

"You-you fucked up man." You said to him. Silence filled the air. Until Wilbur-this little prick decided to break it

"I don't know about you Tommy but I forgive Technoblade, I forgive Technoblade in a heartbeat" I slowly turn my head towards Wilbur's direction. What?

"Well, I do not forgive Technoblade!-"

"Well, I do-"

"The Hell?! he just murdered Tubbo a few minutes ago and you just forgive him?-" I began swearing at him-at them like crazy until Techno spoke up.

"Let's settle this in the pit Tommy. We settle this in a pit and whatever happens there, stays there." I sighed but agreed.

We all went to the pit. Everyone was up there while we were down here. No armor only axes. This is the chance to let out anger. Everyone was waiting for my first move. I stared at him blankly and he stared back. The tension in the air was as think as a rock.

"You sure you wanna do this Tommy? Cause when we come out of here, win or lose, no hard feelings alright? It stays in the pit." I didn't answer instead I charge at him with my axe and swing towards his torso. He gracefully dodges it and I end up almost tripping but still mange to stay balance. With every attack I made he manages to dodge every single one. I charge at him again but he trips making me fall down. He places the axe in front of my neck indicating his one. I let out a groan in annoyance. This bastard had beaten me.

They all walk away well-Wilbur walked away along with Technoblade saying "It stays in the pit" and left me in the pit. you mumbled words in annoyance. Tubbo walked forward and held forward his hand, helping you up which you accepted. He patted me in the back. I smile sadly.

It stay in the pit...
