Chapter 39 : Disaster

"Good afternoon everyone! A wise man once told me that L'manberg was a like a lettuce. There's so many layers of tasty and healthy goodness, and once you wash the caterpillars and worms off the surface its a pretty god damn good meal" He nods just like Schlatt and Quackity beside him. The crowd applauds.

"Schlatt has successfully washed all of the insects of our great nation." You look at Wilbur in the building. He was looking at Tommy who had the same are-you-kidding-me-tubbo? look. You chuckle a little.

"And with that he's allowed the goodness and tastiness to shine through. Ladies and gentle men, I would like you to look around at what we've built today, look at eachother, all of this, thanks to the democracy and the leadership of J. Schlatt. Our people had been beaten down by royals and dictators for so long and now we are finally free. Free to elect who we want, free to live how we want and most importantly free to go wherever we want without the confine of those huge black walls. so with that in mind I'd like to thank everyone for coming to this wonderful event." that's right. The walls were gone. You hadn't notice before but that was not important right now. You here Schlatt wickedly let out a cackle.

"Is there something wrong Schlatt?"The innocent boy asked. You didn't have a good feeling about this. Something about that man wasn't right.

"No its just, I was just thinking about it Tubbo. You know how we like to have Fun?" His voice was full of malice causing you to furrow your brows.

"Y-yeah, Of course Schla-"

"You got anything else in the speech Tubbo?" He said impatiently

"Uh-no-no-uh Let the festival go onwards!" He said a little nervous but happily. something was definitely wrong. You crept through the shadows towards the stage to get a closer look but eventually stopped. You saw them boxing up Tubbo. Fear was in the child's eyes.

"Sc-schlatt, what're you doing? wait-schlatt-" Your eyes widen. What were they gonna do tubbo? You look back again to Wil. Tommy was panicking, he was whispering words to Wil. You were about to step out but someone stopped you.

"What the-" You see Dream holding your wrist. George and Sapnap was beside him. "Wha-guys?! don't-" You try to pull away but Dream's grip got tighter. "Dream! Let go!" You were now squirming. He nodded at the two boys and they both ran off.

Your eyes widen as Tubbo was fully boxed. "Dream, let me go. They're going to do something to Tubbo! Let go!" You scolded as you struggle to get out of his grip but he just pulled you in his embrace making it impossibele to get out of his hold.

"I'll cut to the fucking chase Tubbo." He spoke " Yeah tell him Schlatt" The guy in the beanie said.

"It really sucks for me to say this right here in front of everybody-I mean it's kind of awkward." The child was now crying and Niki was yelling for them to stop. You too were now tearing up.

"Tubbo, I know what you've been up to."

"wh-what have I been up to?" the boy stuttered.

He laghed and points "'What I have been up to' he says. YOU WERE WORKING WITH THE IDIOTS! WITH THE TYRANTS THAT WE KICKED OUT OF THIS COUNTRY! Tubbo I don't know if you know this but treason isn't exactly a respectable thing around here you know?" He paused for a little bit. You felt hot tears stream down your face.

"I know what you've been doing. It all adds up buddy. The fucking tunnels, your absence from great events-I mean you walked off in the middle of this one! I've seen it with my own two fucking eyes Tubbo! I know what you've been doing." He yells at the crying child. You felt angry and scared. angry at what the man in front of tubbo and scared at what he might do to him.

"So don't try to tell me you don't know." He sighs. You continue to struggle from Dream's grasp. "You know what happens to traitors Tubbo?" He asks the poor crying child. Everyone in the crowd was in utter shock-even Techno was taken aback.

"Dream let me go." You said sternly and threatening but he didn't budge.

"Nothing good. Absolutely nothing good..." He said turning away from Tubbo to the crowd. His eyes wandered, looking for someone and stopped when he spot the guy. You followed his gaze. A wicked smirk plastered on the man's face as you look in horror. Niki was crying.

"Hey Technoblade! Do you wanna come up here for a second? Let's just send a message real quick..." Techno stood up with his blank and emotionless face. He took out his triton and flew towards the stage. He landed in the water he placed. What was he going to do?

"Dream. I said to fucking let me go." You repeated more sternly. It sent shivers to Dream which wasn't normal to him. He truly was scared of what you might do.

"You see uh-Tubbo here, an enemy of the state and a perpetrator to these awful, awful people who I banished from this country. Technoblade please, would you be so kind?" Your eyes widen and mouth was agape. You knew exactly what he meant. You struggle more out of Dream's grasp.

"Uh-What are you asking Schlatt?" the pig asked innocently. "I want you to take care of him."

"You want me to uh-get him some breakfast?-get him a nice coat?-what?w-what do you want me to do?" You took this chance while Techno continued to be a dumb pig to stop and focus on heat.

"Technoblade were running on a tight schedule here-i only call you here for special favors man-I mean we go way back right? Techno I need you to take him out-Take him out to dinner bro-you're gonna kill him. Kill him right now Techno, in front of everyone-on this fucking stage in front of all these people!" With that your eyes began to glow. You felt heat rush through your veins, all focused on one spot. Your hand. This caused a burning sensation towards Dream who was now wincing from the heat.

"Let go Dream and it will stop." He continued to struggle in holding you. You sigh. You didn't want to do this but-you sigh. You struggle again but this time you succeeded in getting out of his grasp. He fell to the ground and held his stomach and arms. He groans in pain. Your body goes back to normal.

You rush in front of the crowd. You saw people gasp and the two boys who was with Dream follow you. Everyone's gaze was on you.

"TECHNO! STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!" He turns around.

"Y/n! We finally meet! I've been looking forward for this moment but it looks like you came in the wrong time." You glared at horned man.

"Y/n?" You look back at Techno. You felt hands grab you again.

"Techno! Don't do it! Don't kill him! PLEASE! DON"T DO IT!" You pleaded tear threatening to fall down. The crowd was filled with murmurs and cries.

He sighed. Schlatt walks up to him and squeezes his shoulder "I'm sorry Y/n" Your eyes widen as he takes out his crossbow.

"I'm sorry Tubbo. I'm gonna make this as painless as possible. The younger's eyes widen.

"TECHNO! STO-" with that he releases the trigger and fireworks light up the stage. Screams and cries erupt from the crowd. You were thrown back from the impact along with Sapnap and George. Your senses were fully triggered causing your hair and eyes to glow.

You screamed and grunted in pain as you hit the ground. You felt everything. You heard everything. You saw everything. Niki was crying and screaming at Techno. Tommyinnit made an entrance and rushed towards you while getting chased. You felt footsteps all around you. Wilbur wasn't seen and you knew exactly where he was
