Chapter 38 : Festival

A/N : Hi Readers! its the day ya'll been waiting for. Its time for nothing but angst. I'm really sorry for not updating yesterday, hope this makes up for it OwO. And please tell me if there are some spelling mistakes cause I wrote this with one hand cause my left arm is injured. On with the story!

 Y/N POV

You were outside pacing around over and over again. You were really frustrated. Tomorrow is the festival and Technoblade was invited. Tubbo told us three days ago. A week ago they were having some conversation that looks to be about something they didn't want you to know. It was easy to know because Technoblade still had the crystal on the gem in his cape but unfortunately the crystal didn't get anything from that conversation. I mean-it did but it was all blurry and fuzzy.

You already tried translating and tried to make out the words but failed. The only word you can make out was 'button'. Stupid broken crystal and it's dumb read.

Tomorrow was gonna be the start of the day you guys were waiting for and you weren't going to miss it.

You made your way inside Pogtopia, down the damp and dark cave. It had this unsettling but safe feeling. You made your way to find Techno. You wanted to come with him to Manberg tomorrow. You didn't want to wait with Wilbur and Tommy in some building.

You find him talking to Dream. You furrow your brows. What was that green bastard doing here? Your stomach did a flip that felt...surprisingly good. You pushed that feeling away. It was something you felt everytime you saw Dream. You just don't know what it was

"Techno?" You called out peeking your head through the doorway and stepped inside.

"Yeah?" He turns his head to you, as well as the masked man behind him. His crown was reflecting the bright light of the torches that lit the room while Dream's mask states at you.

"Can I talk to you?" You ask him switching your gaze to Dream then back to him.

"....alone" he looks at Dream, seeking approval but just stepped forward. He was now beside Techno.

"No." Dream answered for him. You glare at him and crossed your arms.

"I wasn't asking you Dream." He let out a 'tsk' and continued "Whatever you tell to Techno I need to know. Either way he's just gonna tell me what you said to him." You furrow your brows once more. Techno's been telling Dream everything? You look at Techno then back at Dream.

You sighed. "Very well then, it looks like I don't have much choice" you stated. Your gaze locked on Techno.

"Umm-I was wondering if I could come to Manberg with you." You said nervously.

"Uhh-I don't know... I mean I guess but I don't think Dream will say yes to this." He said rubbing his temples.

"That's correct, I'm not going to say yes to this. You'll be staying with Tommy and Wilbur-"

"I'm not the one asking you Dream! You don't control me!" Dream raised a brow.

"I think I do. Remember our little deal?" You didn't answer.

"Looks like we have come to an agreement. You can go now." You glared at him "Tsk." and left

I was now just waiting for the two to arrive. I was just practicing my charm. You were on top of the ravine placing buttons everywhere. You were hanging onto your sword that was attached or something like that to the wall while placing down buttons. It wasn't that hard because you were using your charm at the same time to make the weight lighter. But suddenly you were getting exhausted until you heard faint voices. Shit! What the fuck do I do?! I'm like 10 blocks high!

I look around the area. There was nothing hide from. Hopefully, they wouldn't see me. Just have to hang on a little longer. You stop moving when the voices were clearer. 

"Wilbur, Where's Y/n? We have to leave soon." Tommy asked him. "Hmm... I haven't seen her since last night, Where is she?" Wilbur started looking around. I felt like I was slipping. My grip was starting to get loose. You sighed. Guess I have to jump down. You look for a near block. you spot one but it was three blocks away. you didn't have a choice so you parkoured your way to it. You jumped. Yes yes-wait-no no no! I managed to grab on the edge but I let out a squeak making the two boys down me look up.

'Y/n? What the fuck are you doing up there?" Tommy asked.

"Could use some help you know?" You mocked.

"Just jump down!" Wilbur yelled.

"What? No! This is like 7 blocks high!" I protested as my grip was getting loose. "It looks like you don't have much of a choice!" 

"Don't worry! I'll catch you!" Tommy said holding up his arms. The fall would hurt him to...What to do? Fuck.

Wait! I could use my charm! I can just fake my fall and float down! You concentrated as your grip got looser and closed your eyes.

I let go and felt like the fall was slow. Just relax. I speed up the fall and landed in a bunch of arms.

"You guys have good grip. Now let's go!" You said getting off of them.

"Can you please explain how you got up there?" Wilbur asked. "No." You said catching your falling sword that was previously attached at the top af the ravine which was ten blocks high and left them dumbfounded.

We were now heading to Manberg. You and Tommy were both wearing full iron armor but Wilbur, on the other hand, didn't want to wear one. The reason? I have no clue.

"Wilbur, Why aren't you wearing any armor? You know that were going to a festival that the one hosting it is the one who exiled us right?" Tommy asked.

"Tommy, are you saying that I look bad?" Wilbur fake cried "What?-no no no, I was just saying shouldn't you wear-I mean just like a helmet or something?" You sighed.

"Do you guys think this is the time to be arguing about this?" You snapped. They all shut up and you three went to a building near Manberg. They were to focused on the festival so you took this opportunity to escape and go down there. Schlatt was already welcoming, greeting and making fun of Tubbo when you headed down there so when you arrrived it was already time for Tubbo's speech.
