A second passes, and the wind flew into another direction. A minute passes, and the leaves slowly bloomed into a rose pink color. An hour passes, and the world was warm and welcoming. A single night passes, it was finally spring.

Hey, that rhymed.

Todoroki was again to experience spring without her for the second time since they met.

But atleast it didn't hurt more than last year. It seemed like he had been used to being alone. No more [y/n] and that was that. He couldn't sell all of him to buy a time machine to go back in time and fix it all. Most importantly, he couldn't change the fate he was destined to have in terms of relationship.

Maybe... they weren't just suited for each other.

Maybe, he wasn't supposed to meet her in the first place.

Maybe, he wasn't supposed to fall in love with her as time passed by.

Maybe, spring was to blame for all of it. Or maybe it was her cherry blossom scent. Or the sound of her flute. Or even just her alluring eyes.

Spring was supposed to be a season to be comforted and happy. But why was he still so down the earth?

It was a weekend, so no school. What can he do?

But like, what was so special about spring anyway?

"I love spring because.... it makes me feel free."

Todoroki heaved a sigh and continued staring at the ceiling, his gaze as blank as a space on a paper.

"I prefer hot noodles."

For some reason, things she said came running into his mind again.

"If there was a shooting star, what will you wish?"

He couldn't remember what his answer to that question was so he felt frustration.

"I brought you here because you seem like a person who likes reading."

Oh, yeah. That day they went to a small library was unforgettable to him. What they did there was almost a confession, only it was just pure coincidence.

"I figured you would be exhausted so I wanted to bring you snacks."

Those box of mochis were also one of a kind. He already tried them when he was young and it tasted blunt. But when she fed him, the mochi was sweeter and more addicting. He wasn't addicted to it though. He was addicted to her.

It was the beginning of spring season.

He was alone in his room, laying in bed.

Nothing to do, nothing to work on.

So, what was he going to do for a day?

"Thank you for buying, please come again!"

Todoroki left the convenience store with a cup of hot noodles on his hand. He never actually liked it hot but for the sake of his annoying boredom, he tried to atleast like it a little.

He stopped in the middle of a bridge close to the railings. He leaned on and put the cup of noodles on front. Now feeling the warm breeze against his skin, he picked up his chopsticks and took a sip of the hot noodles.

He could only say one thing.

It. Was. Too. Hot.

But for the first time, he just ignored it and continued eating. There was nothing wrong with trying new things, especially things she liked.
