Todoroki's eyes burst open and again, the ceiling came into view. It wasn't the blue sky anymore.

Groaning, he sat up, his arm earning a role as a stand. He woke up in his same room, not in the spot within the park.

He stretched his arms and yawned one last time before getting out of bed. He opened the door and the first person he came across with was Fuyumi. It wasn't her.

Fuyumi smiled, holding up a towel. It wasn't the same smile he admired though he never even thought of that smile anyway.

"Good morning, Shoto," The older woman greeted and he just nodded, as usual. Todoroki took the towel then headed to the bathroom to take a bath.

Fuyumi watched as his figure disappeared behind the door. When it was closed, she sighed.

Todoroki was now the same old quiet loser since that time. His smile was extinct once again and she found it much harder to make him happy, all because of that one faithful day.

She was relieved when she found out that her little brother slowly changed during those hours he was missing from the house because of a girl she didn't know about. Fuyumi didn't care though, she was just glad Todoroki was beginning to be more like an actual teenager.

She felt reassured when Todoroki hung out with her. But things didn't go pretty well after a few days.

Because out of nowhere, she was gone. And Todoroki was left alone in their spot.

They couldn't ask where she was since her grandma died the same day she was missing.

She watched her brother desperately look for her after waiting for six hours, of course, she helped too. They asked strangers but no one actually knew her or where she actually lived. The only important information they had was that she didn't actually live in their neighborhood, she was actually from another town. But it just made things harder for them.

They searched for weeks but to no avail.

Then Todoroki had to leave for some kind of hero work in an island. Then when he came back not mentioning the same girl ever again.

Fuyumi was worried maybe he chose to forget about her. Actually, she was devastated. Todoroki changed back to a cold teenage boy. No more decent talks, no small smiles, and he no longer had feelings.

She frowned, "I'm sorry, Shoto."

She took one last glance at the bathroom door before walking away, a frown found in her features.

'I'm sorry you're alone again.'

"Okay, that is all for today. Class dismissed."

Unlike before, Todoroki left school with a relatively stoic look on his face. His head hung low, his hand in his pockets, and of course, his cold stone pair of eyes.

He was walking alone like always but this time, he wasn't anticipating for anything. There was nothing to be excited about. The park was destroyed anyways.

He's been like that for one and a half years, he was in his third year of high school now. He somehow couldn't believe how fast the time passed by. Though it was slow when the pain in his heart still existed. It was hard to move on, it didn't matter if he was strong. He wasn't good at handling his feelings especially since it was the first time he loved someone.

If he were to be honest, he loved the feeling. He liked how he felt when he was with her. He liked the sparkles in his eyes when he stared at her. He just liked being in the same place as her, especially when they were so close to each other.

'Love is something I can have....'

But the worst thing he realized was that that feeling made him want to be with her all the time. He hated how he always looked for her presence when she was gone. He hated how he missed her when he was alone for months. He hated how he still can't stop thinking about her up 'til now.

'....but it's also something I can't let go easily.'

He loved her so much that he hated the times he wanted to be with her.

Does that even make sense?

"What? The park is opening? I thought it was destroyed by that villain months ago!"

"They rebuilt it. Now we can play again!"

'It does if you know that feeling.'

Being completely aware, he turned to the left and the path directly lead to his household. He ignored the kids who were talking about the park because honestly, he could care less.

That spot was probably replaced into a small fish pond.

It was a good idea.

The pink Sakura trees were cut down.

The ground and the evergreen grass were replaced by a small pond.

The bright memories faded away.

He even swore to not go back ever again. He knew he'll only break down when he goes there.

He tried hard to not get hurt. He thought he actually improved but no. He kept missing her without him even knowing.

Throwing himself on his bed, he stared at the ceiling blankly. He was reluctant to say it but he promised it was going to be the last time (he kept doing that but failed every time, I don't blame him though since we often do that too).

'[y/n]....where are you?'
