A/N: before we begin I just want to apologize for not updating for a while its just I've been busy with school. And I've been stressing out because of some stuff. Hope you guys/gals/nonbinary pals forgive me :)

As Bertholdt set us on top of the wall one of our superior officer came.
"Look alive! Operation Colossal Titan Response is in effect! I expect you to take part and report back to HQ! If you got close to the damn thing, we need details!"
"Sir!" We yelled
" Sir! We pray the advance team will be victorious!" Connie yelled
As the bells rang for everyone to evacuate, you could hear the people shout in distress. As the Garrison were shooting canon balls at the Titans we took out our ODM gear and went to HQ, But because my ODM gear was jammed I had to ride on Bertholdts back. (Go y/n ride bertholdt like a pony ;) oh to be y/n I wish I could ride on bertholdts d- anyways into the story.. Heh..)
When we got there I switched my ODM gear and filled up the gas and restocked my blades out of the corner of my eye I could see Franz and Hannah talking. 'I really hope everyone will be fine.. ' but I knew it was just wishful thinking. There are only a few people that I hope come out of this alive.. Lia, Mara, Marco, Jean, Mina, Mikasa, Armin, Bertholdt, Sasha, and Connie. They have been my bestest friends out of all of this.
As we walked out in the middle of HQ and lined up our superior officer spoke " I want everyone split into four squadrons, as practiced. All squadrons are responsible for supply-running, message relay, and enemy combat under the command of the Garrison regiment! The intercept Squadron will be taking the Vanguard. Cadets will be taking the middle guard, led by the support squad. Rear guard will go to the elites. I expect you all to man your posts knowing the Advance team has been wiped out. That's right; the outer gate is history. The Titans are in! This means the "armoured Titan" Is likely to reappear. If and when he does, the inner gate will also be history!"
People murmured and were shocked and frightened.
"QUIET! " the superior officer shouted
" Right! Those in Vanguard, be ready! The whole area is well-nigh saturated. Your mission is very a simple one: Defend the wall 'til the evacuation's done! Now. Be aware, all of you, that desertion is punishable by execution! If it comes to it, lay down your lives! Dismissed! " He then walked off
"Sir!" Everyone shouted and saluted
Then we all ran in different directions to get ready. As I was walking to say by to bertholdt I heard Jean talking about he had one more day till he was in the interior.
I saw Bertholdt and hugged him from behind and he tensed up but he then saw it was me and relaxed and turned around and Hug me back. I went on my tip toes to give him a kiss but I was two short so he bent down a little and I kissed him on the cheek :). "Promise me you'll make it" He whispered and then took off "I promise" I whispered to where nobody could hear. I then saw Daz throw up with Christa comforting him.
I then took off to go kill some Titans. >:)
As my squadron was made up of some people I was not familiar with, but they were ok. As a Titan approached us I went up to it as sliced its nape killing it. I was shaking in my boots but none of my other squad members looked like they were going to do it so I did.
As a group of Titans appeared my group went up to them since there was no way to avoid them so the black haired boy killed the 5meter titan. The brown haired girl killed the 7meter Titan, the red head boy and girl killed both killed two 9meter Titans while I killed the 6meter Titan.
As we killed a couple of more Titans we saw some of our friends together, on a rooftop so we stopped on the rooftop to joined them.
"Hey! Are you alright?" I asked Mara and Lia
" Yeah were fine but some of look like sh!t" Mara told me
Lia starts to cry, " I- I saw people get eaten alive and torn apart " Lia falls to her knees and breaks down
I get on my knees and hug her, 'I would say it's ok but it's not.. '
" Shh, be happy that your still alive and besides at least their not in this cruel world anymore " I said to her and gave her a sad smile.
