--Time skip to when Bertholdt has a talk with Annie--

"H-hey A-annie.." Bertholdt stutters, Annie looks at him and says "What" with a blank stare,
"D-did you threaten Y/n e-earlier..?"
"..."
"Im not mad!! I-im just wondering because i found her by a tree looking all s-scared..."
"..." Annie then sighs and says "Yes I did threaten her, only because I know you get more attached to those monsters more easily then Reiner and I" Annie says blankly
"...oh...ok..." Berthodlt mutters, Annie then starts to walk away but Bertholdt then says "Annie I know you don't want her to hang out with me so I don't get attached but I-I am going to a-anyways, b-because I want to at least have 'friends'" Berthodlt putting qoutation marks around the friend part, Annie eyes widen but and nods, walking to the training grounds.

After I talked to Annie I went to find Y/n to talk to her about the threat situation. When I finally found her she was training with Jean, "s-she actually beating him.." I mutter silently but I spoke to soon because she(IM SORRY IF YOUR A GUY BUT JUST PRETEND YOUR A GIRL) then got kicked on the ground and Jean sat on top of her holding her hands with one hand and put the fake wooden knife on her throat with the other hand that way she couldn't escape and surrender.

Jean helped her up and she looked towards my direction and saw me, she smiled that angelic smile of hers and waved. I blushed a little and waved with an akward smile, she then proceed to walk towards me "Hey Bertholdt!! Did you have a talk with that one person who threatened me?" she asked me

"I- um- yeah..They said they would leave you alone.." said bending the truth a little, Annie didn't say she would leave Y/n alone but I knew she might after I talked to her, I just didn't want Y/n to worry..ughhhh..why do I care if a stupid Eldian is scared or worried its not like they care. Y/n then looked up at me with confusion and I think happiness? "Really..? You asked them not to hurt me and they said sure...that all it took..?" Y/n said in confusion, I started to sweat in my hands and was about to say something but Y/n cut me off " Thanks Bertholdt!!" I was surprised she thanked me even thought I barely did anything. She then proceed to hug me which made me blush at the sudden contact, she looked at me and smiled and let go "Wanna train with me?" she asked me "S-sure" I said

She then grabbed my hand and tossed me a wooden knife (Just pretend like she always had it) "You be the 'bad guy'" she said I nod and make my first move by swinging the knife at her which she dodges surprisingly and then tries to hit me with her left fist but I dodge to the right in time but it turns out that the punch was a decoy(LMAO IM SORRY IF THIS SOUNDS WEIRD IM NOT GOOD AT DESCRIBING FIGHT SCENES ONLY MAKING THEM IN MY HEAD AHAHHA) and hits me in my head with her right fist, stumble backwards at the impact and try to recover from it by standing up straight again, I may not be the best fighter but I have my height as an advantage. I then managed to grab her arm to put her down on the ground but all of a sudden she swung her leg in front off my legs tripping me and getting me to the ground. I lay there still in shock from what happened, while Y/n then grabs the knife that I dropped when I fell and puts it to my neck. She smirks and says proudly "I win" I then looked at her shocked and then grin, she puts a hand out for me to grab and I take it she helps lift me off the ground and we stand back up.

I hand her the knife and she takes it, she idmedilty starts to move towards me. It startled me at first but luckily I move out of the way just in time and I put my foot out to trip which ends up working and she falls to the ground with a thud. "oof-" I hear her grunt in pain, I then see her get up holding the knife tighter and once again trys to strike me with it but she moved to slow and I grab her wrist and pulled it behind her back. I then grab her other wrist and pull it behind her back, Y/n struggled trying to escape still not letting go of the knife but hen finally realised that there was no way she could escape and let go of the knife and sighed in defeat. "damnit..." Y/n whispered to herself "You did g-great, its j-just that mabye when first attacking d-dont put all your energy in your first move because when y-you did t-that you slowed d-down.." I whispered loud enough for her to hear Y/n then looks at me with a daze and then smiles "okay! thanks for the advice Bertholdt!"
