Complicated (Reader×Bertholdt story)

~~Chapter 13~~

before we begin I'm sorry for not updating in months I have to got I summer school :'( and I forgot about the book lol. Also Im really interested in Demon slayer now.

"Y/n!! " I heard someone call, I turned around "what?" It was Bertholdt who called me. "I- I you can't go down there by yourself.. " He told me, I smiled as it seemed he was worried for me. Then Marco stood and said he had a plan.

-Time skip to when there in the supply room-

I was about to attack a Titan when I leaped down to slice its nape it turned around to face me and my blades broke as it hit it's nose.

My eyes widened in surprise and it's hand grabbed me. "FUCK!" I screamed out. "Y/N" I heard Bertholdt scream, I looked over at Bertholdt and smiled as I shed tear.

I was prepared for my death. This is what happens and you can't change it, I just wish my death was meaningful. That I did something important. I closed my eyes as the Titans teeth chewed my lower body. Mikasa cut the Titans nape but she was too late.

'Im sorry Mara and Lia, forgive me Marco for I messed up the plan, I love you Bertholdt' I thought as I slowly slipped out of consciousness.

--No ones POV:

As everyone gathered around the fire pit they all mourned over their comrades death. Bertholdt was over in the shadows balling his eyes out, muttering how useless he was. Reiner felt sorry for him and gave him a hug. Annie looked at Bertholdts broken figure with sad eyes, for she too was sorry for him. He's never cried like this. Sure Y/n was an eldian but she meant a lot to bertholdt, they even were willing to change their plan so they could take her with them.

Mara and Lia were bawling they're eyes out. They couldn't stop crying over there best friend death.

-time skip-

Mara and Lia were still sad about their friends death. So they joined the Survey Corps. They sworn to kill every Titan in there path because looking at a Titan disgusts them, the image of their dead friend flashes in their mind.

Bertholdt couldn't hear your name without crying. He pushed himself everyday with training. He wanted to be strong for you.

Little did Mara, Lia, and Bertholdt know you were with them every day. Making sure they were ok. When they were out on missions you were with them protecting them from any danger.

-Time skip *SPOILER*-

Mara and Lia looked at each other with teary eyes and smiled. They were going to die and they knew it. But they wanted to go out Honorably, and they did. They rode straight to their deaths as flying rocks came right to them. They weren't scared in fact they were happy. They were going to see their best friend so they accepted their death. As a big Rock hit them, it bashed their skulls, ultimately killing them.

--Time skip *SPOILER*--

As Bertholdt was about to get eaten he called your name and everyone was shocked and saddened. Then Bertholdt looked to see you smiling at him and then darkness as his head was crushed.

You were in Heaven hanging out with Mara, Lia, and Marco laughing together. You were sad because you couldn't be with Bertholdt. But after you found out he was the Titan that killed your family you weren't mad because you loved him. But you wished you could see him again. But maybe in another life, if that was possible. You smiled to yourself and chased after your friends.

Hey besties, I'm sorry for ending this on a sad note. When I wrote this chapter I didn't expect to end it but I was bored and didn't want to keep writing and dragging this on. I didn't even think I would end it this soon or even this sad but yknow I got bored. I can always make some oneshots or special chapters but this is the end of the story.
