Hey friends, i'm getting a lot of comments asking about fred and i want to remind you that this story does involve BOTH of the twins, but i will not be responding to anything that asks how/if/when/why fred is coming back to life!! It's a story so unfortunately I can't spoil it and tell you what happens with Fred :/BUT i did make some slight changes to the story description that i feel better represents what is happening so you are free to interpret it however you like :)

Their second night of the girls weekend involved a lot less gossip and a lot more of Hermione and Cosette listening to Ginny contemplate her relationship with Harry.
"Like, you love Ron, yes?" Ginny turned to look at Hermione who had been zoning in and out of this conversation more than Cosette was. They loved Ginny like a sister but she was so unsure when it came to her relationship and everything she was saying was starting to become repetitive. But they knew that Ginny was really just looking for advice from them. She never had sisters growing up so Cosette and Hermione were the next best things.
"Of course," Hermione smiled in response. "Some days I want to strangle him, but out of love I think."
Ginny snorted, "Okay, have you ever talked about marrying him?"
They could see Hermione thinking profusely about that question before she sighed loudly, "We've only been together for three years so it hasn't really come up in conversation. One time in my kitchen he asked if I would want an extravagant wedding like Fleur and Bill's but that's not really the same thing as discussing a wedding with him."
Ginny nodded and Cosette already knew she was going to be asked the same thing when Ginny directed her attention towards her, "If you don't want to talk about it-"
"Gin, it's okay," Cosette assured her. She could tell Ginny was hesitant to bring up Fred and such an intimate topic but she couldn't just avoid talking about him for the rest of her life. The more she spoke about him the less difficult it would be with time.
"Well you dated for six years, didn't you?" Ginny asked, curling her knees up to her chest. They were all spread out in the living room. Ginny was on the loveseat, Hermione was in the chair next to her and Cosette had taken up the length of the other couch and tossed a blanket over her legs.
"Something like that," Cosette nodded, "But we were young when we started dating. We never spoke about marriage when we were at Hogwarts."
"What about when you graduated?" Hermione asked, seeming to be just as interested as Ginny. Cosette briefly glanced up to look at Hermione, there had been a hint of tension between them ever since she accused Cosette of sleeping with George. She had yet to bring it up again but Cosette was still expecting her to.
"I always knew that I wanted to marry him," Cosette started off quietly, thinking about the ring box that she still had to find. She wondered when Fred had purchased it and when he decided that he wanted to marry her. "But we didn't really talk about it. It was sort of this unspoken agreement that it was just going to happen one day. Fred had always been adamant on thinking ahead and always trying to be two steps in front of everyone else, both of you know this, but when it came to our relationship we never rushed anything. We were always really content with where we were and we didn't need to think about the future. We were each other's future."
