Chapter 27: Girls' Trip

I told everything that had happened in Eunwoo and I's fake date earlier to the girls while we're driving to the beach. I don't know why, but they were all dumbfounded.

"Why are your reactions like that?" I grumpily said. I thought they'll be happy that we're finally talking like before, but it seems like they're more confused than joyful.

"Well...." Jennie started while holding the steering wheel. She's our driver for today. Lisa is sitting on the passenger seat, while Rosé and I are sitting together on the backseat.

"Well?" I asked.

Lisa sighed. "Can you remind us again why you two aren't together?"

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Because...we're bad together." 

"Come again?" Jennie glanced at me and raised her eyebrows. 

I crossed my arms. "We're not good together. We just....hurt each other when we're a couple, that's why we did what's best for us." I sighed. "Remember, guys?"

Rosé smiled at me. "Yeah, we do. We just.." She pouted. "We're just worried, Jisoo. You're in a committed relationship with Jinyoung."

"Huh? I'm not doing anything wrong. Eunwoo and I are just friends."

Jennie sighed. "Whoever you love, we will support you. Just don't do anything that would ruin what's important to you."

"I'm not! I don't know what you guys are worrying about." I can't believe this. I feel like a kid in a tantrum because of what they're saying.

Lisa held my hand. "Okay, Jisoo. Please don't take our actions the wrong way. We're always here for you, you know that, right?" 

Jennie pursed her lips. "I just hope you know what you're doing, Jisoo."

I rolled my eyes at Jennie. I am.

I know I shouldn't feel like this right now because it would ruin the trip, but I couldn't help but be annoyed at Jennie.

That's why when we arrived at the beach and took photos, I tried my best to avoid her. 

When the three of them went to change clothes, I told them that I'll just go walk around the beach to get some fresh air. 

They were about to stop me, but I'm already out of the room. 

After a few minutes of walking, I felt myself calm down. 

So, I took a few selfies. I checked all of them and smiled. It's so beautiful here.
