chapter 8: beautiful

the plan was in motion. 7:30am on the dot sapphire stepped out of her car feeling a bit nervous.

she walked up to amethyst's door and rang the bell with her heart thudding against her rib cage. as if she had been waiting for her right on the other side of the door amethyst swung the door open.

a blush stained her cheeks all the way to her ears when she saw how good sapphire looked in her usual all black outfit.

"good morning love." sapphire said seeming cool but inside she was about ready to fangirl because of this beautiful woman.

amethyst, clad in a grey adidas tracksuit with her hair up in a bun looked gorgeous to sapphire.

"hey sapph. are you ready to go?" amethyst asked with a smile.

"sapph? huh, thats a new one. i like it. I'll be ready in just a..."sapphire trailed off as she pulled amethyst into a fiery kiss.

"now I'm ready." she smirked as she looked at amethyst's flushed face.

the two lovers got into sapphire's convertible and straight to the cafe. both stayed silent during the entire ride as nerves ate at them.

when they arrived and parked in front of the cafe sapphire placed her hand on amethyst's leg that had been bouncing up and down the entire drive.

instantly amethyst froze and then relaxed. they looked at each other as if mentally saying are you ready for this. they both nodded their heads and stepped out.

the cafe opened at 8am so they had about 10 minutes to think of where to place the gift so that azure would see it and take it.

"how about we just leave it on the doorstep and park further from here to make sure it doesn't get stolen and then when we see her or an employee take it we can go. but most of the time she opens so she'll probably be the one to take it. anywho its clearly addressed to her so her employees will just give it to her. " sapphire said to amethyst.

amethyst quickly agreed as they really didn't have time to disagree at the time.

the two alphas put the bag right against the door and quickly got into the car to park across the street and watch.

their hearts were both pounding and felt like they were going to rip out of their chests when they saw their omega walking with thea to the front door.

they watched as thea picked up the gift and looked at the letter inside before shoving it into azure's hands with a teasing smile while babbling about something excitedly.

azure's face instantly flushed after she read the note and she broke into a shy smile while saying something to her friend. the alphas watched as the pair walked into the shop and disappeared from their sight.

they both let out a breath they didn't realise they had been holding.

"i think she liked it. " amethyst grinned at sapphire and the two women laughed in relief.

amethyst then leaned over and kissed sapphire.

azure was shocked. completely and utterly shocked. she could not stop herself from blushing all morning as all her employees gave her knowing looks. news spread quick among this group of friends.

she could not belive that she had admirers who liked her like that. not one but two admirers. she found herself imagining it was amethyst and sapphire. she really wanted it to be them. i mean it just makes sense that its them...I've been here forever and nobody ever expressed a sign of liking me and now i meet them and boom! secret admirers.

she quickly discarded those thoughts though and marked them as wishful thinking. she felt bad to think that other people were the ones who liked her yet she could only think of two women and would have to reject anyone else.

it seemed that she only wanted sapphire and amethyst the thought of anyone else was impossible in the little omega's mind.

what is going on with me. how am i going crazy over people i briefly met two days ago.

the rest of azure's day dragged on with the two alphas on azure's mind. she even sniffed the gift bag and letter and thought she could smell their scents all over the gift but decided that she was just too hopeful and was creating a false reality for herself.

she decided that she would do anything to know who her admirers were.

their pie was great so she decided they would be to. she was going to find out who they were tomorrow.
