sapphire's fear that she was going to hurt an innocent man clouded her head for the rest of the day and she needed a break from her churning mind. she received a text from amethyst after 2pm and decided to take a break to text her gorgeous mate instead.
purple : hey love, I just finished interviews and I found some great employees... super excited about that and i think i'll be ready for opening next week saturday :)
blue : hey <3 i'm glad that went well for you... I just finished looking through some stuff for work and I'm thinking we should probably celebrate because it's so great that things are looking up for the gym opening. would you like to have a late lunch w me?
purple : yeah that sounds good to me but I hope we aren't jinxing it by celebrating early lol. should I invite azure or will you?
blue : I'm sure we aren't jinxing anything love and I was actually thinking it could be just you and I because I just want to talk to you about something before we can tell azure about it... we could just do lunch at my place to talk and later tonight we can invite azure for dinner after we've talked...
purple : should I be worried... this sounds serious
blue : nah don't worry it's not anything too bad.. hopefully
purple : okay then... are you home rn? I can drive over rn
blue : yeah I'm home i'll send you my address.
sapphire sent the address and began to freak out a little, realizing that her place was trashed and the conversation she was about to have could go very wrong very quickly. she stood up and packed away her work things and tidied up while trying to figure out how she would bring up the BDSM part of her life to her mate.

when they separated amethyst looked into sapphire's eyes and saw desperation which intrigued and worried her because sapphire never seemed nervous or scared ever but she shrugged this off and pushed sapphire in and closed the door behind her before pulling her beautiful mate into another seering kiss while walking her backwards to the large couch. sapphire sat and her long toned arms wrapped about amethyst pulling her onto her lap in a straddling position. finally they pulled away from each other and amethyst was the first to speak.
"what's wrong saph?" she asked looking deep into the blue eyes that always made her heart melt.
"i-i jus- you know what this is dumb I don't wanna talk about it right now. it's fine just forget about it let's make lunch you must be starvin-" amethyst cut off sapphire's rambling with another passionate kiss before pulling away and shaking her head disapprovingly.
" no sapphire. speak. what's going on honey. you can tell me anything. i will not let it go. i promise I won't freak out or anything bad." she spoke gently and looked at sapphire trying to gauge her reaction.
sapphire's face gave nothing away but she sighed and looked off to the side, seemingly trying to collect herself before saying the last thing amethyst could have ever thought of.
"have you ever heard of BDSM?" sapphire asked while a blush blossomed on her cheeks.
amethyst could not help the laugh that bubbled in her throat and spilled out of her mouth in gasps and hollers.
sapphire looked taken aback and unsure of herself or what to think of this sudden outburst of laughter and instead stared at amethyst as he continued to laugh for what felt like ages before finally stopping and collecting herself to speak.
"of course I've heard of BDSM, " she said while chuckling and smirking at her mate before continuing. "I think I'd consider myself as well versed in the topic because I dabbled in it actually."
this admission made sapphire exhale a breath she didn't even know she'd been holding in and she let herself breath out a laugh and tightened her grip on amethyst's thighs.
" oh that's good news because I dabble too. i've been dabbling for a long time. it's kinda a part of my lifestyle. i'm a domme and I have been for years." she spoke still choosing her words carefully and watching amethyst for her reaction.
amethyst smiled and chuckled before pressing a quiche peck on sapphire's lips.

"i'm guessing you're strictly a top? or do you want to surprise me?" amethyst said still smiling at sapphire who blushed a deep red.

I'd love to submit to you and I'm sure azure would too once she is told about our kinky selves although I do think she's definitely kinky even if she doesn't know it yet" amethyst smiled at sapphire and kissed her again before standing up and heading to the kitchen.
sapphire watched as amethyst gathered things to cook and smiled. "well that went easier than expected but how do we tell azure about all this? I wanted to bring this all up before I propose to you both so nobody is surprised later." she chuckled and went to sit on the counter by amethyst.
"trust me you could have proposed today and we both would have said yes anyway. and well we will just have to ask azure over dinner tonight what she thinks love." sapphire smiled and pulled sapphire down for a short kiss before turning back to the steak she was prepping.
sooo new chapter yayy...
