chapter 9: exciting

azure woke up bright and early the next morning ready to catch her admirer in the act. she planned to just dress up like a regular jogger and jog up and down the street of her cafe. this plan was foolproof.

i will catch them and then make my two beautiful alphas take me with them...that's if its sapphire and amethyst but i just know it will be them. i mean it better be or else i'm moving out of this town because i know i will not like anyone else. so i'll save myself the second hand embarrassment by moving right back to the city.

azure put her hair up in a pony tail and made her way onto the street. the time was 7:20am when she made it to her street and started jogging. she went up and down that street 5 times before she saw a black convertible turn onto the street and she ran to "stretch" two doors down from her shop while pulling up her hoodie so her identity would be as hidden as possible.

she had her back to the car and heard the door open. her knees instantly felt like jello when the scent of her two beautiful dream alphas hit her. pine and vanilla. i flipping knew i wasn't being too hopeful. it is them.

she watched out of her peripheral vision as they ran across the road and to her cafe door to leave the gift. she wanted to scream and jump in happiness. it was really them. now all she had to do was wait till they leave so she could figure out how to tell them that she knew it was them and she wanted them as much as they wanted her.

she head their footstep retreat and the car doors close. but no engine turning on or tyres screeching on the tarred road. why aren't they going away? maybe there on the phone or something and they'll leave soon.

five minutes. ten minutes. ten minutes had passed and they were still parked. oh no no no no no. they're probably waiting to make sure i get the gift...oh fudge cakes. they're probably wondering what weirdo stretched for ten freaking minutes.

azure was torn between gathering her wits and going to confront them right then or trying to run back to her apartment without getting caught. which was next to impossibe because she'd have to run right in their view to go home.

she pulled herself together and decided to go talk to them.

"who do you think that is?" amethyst asked.

"i honestly have no idea but i do know that that person is fucking weird. they've been standing there repeating the same stretches over and over and now its been ten minutes. where the fuck is azure she was here this time yesterday." sapphire said getting progressively annoyed throughout the sentence.

she was becoming worried. what if azure was in some sort of trouble that held her up or what if she was sick or something terrible happened to her.

"i'm sure she's on her way love no need to panic yet." amethyst said leaning to kiss sapphire's cheek.

just then the two alphas watched as the weird stranger turned around. both the alphas jaws dropped when they saw their perfect mate.

they watched as the omega went over to her door and got her gift and started to walk over to them. they had clearly been caught so they just got out of the car and met azure in front of the car.

"hi little one. i see you totally outsmarted us." amethyst spoke her voice smooth and controlled with a hint of humor in it.

there it was again. that name. little one. it made azure feel a certain way inside. it filled her with warmth and so she could not stop the blush that instantly rose to her ears and cheeks.

"uh hi uhm yeah i guess i did." she stuttered.

sapphire was ready to take the girl into her arms. she was just so adorable.

"i just r-really wanted to kn-know who liked me." she explained her face becoming redder than sapphire imagined was possible.

"well now you know" sapphire said with a chuckle. "we wish you found out in a more extraordinary way but i guess this works" she smiled at amethyst.

"are you happy with who you found though because we would love to take you out little one." amethyst said a blush rising to her own cheeks.

sapphire just looked at azure hopefully with a small smile on her face.

azure could not even contain her sudden excitement and gave the alphas a grin and nodded.

"yes i would love to go out with you alphas." she said finally just allowing herself to just do something that makes her happy. they obviously like her so she quickly shut up any doubt that tried to dim her happiness for once.

sapphire and amethyst collectively let out a sigh of relief they didn't know they were holding in. they broke into smiles and azure giggled at their antics.

"that's the best thing i've heard all morning love." sapphire said and amethyst nodded in agreement.

"may we please have your number so we can text you after we have set up an epic date and we can talk about a date and time." amethyst said holding her phone out to azure.

azure put her number into amethyst phone and handed it back to her with shaking hands.

oh screw it let me just do it before i can change my mind. azure stood on her tippie toes and used a hand to bring amethyst's face down to her incredibly short height and kissed her cheek.

sapphire didn't even need to be told she quickly leaned her head into azure's hand as it came to ward her head letting azures soft lips touch her cheek.

when azure leaned back and looked at the alphas they looked starstruck but that quickly changed into looks of hunger. they looked like they wanted to pounce on her. she giggled and looked away with a very red face.

"uhm well i better go. i have to open up the shop today so uhm thank you alphas. i hope to hear from you soon."

she spoke with her head faced down obviously feeling very shy and bashful and sapphire and amethyst wanted nothing more than to grab her chin to make her look up at them with those amazing eyes.

"we will see you very soon love." the alphas said at the same time making azure gasp and look up at them. it was so weird that they spoke at the same time but it made azure's legs almost give out on her.

they sounded like godesses who could turn her whole life upside down. in the best way.

yayyy so they're finally going to go on a date hurrayy!
