chapter 11: pretty

sapphire and amethyst could not contain their excitement. they almost wished they could take their girl out right then but they needed the time so they could make sure it was perfect. they drove to sapphire's apartment to brainstorm potential date ideas.

"sorry it's such a mess." sapphire blushed after opening the door. her clothes were strewn all across the open plan appartment. damn I should clean up more often before I chase away my future mates.

amethyst shrugged and walked in...she didn't really mind if sapphire was messy. she quite enjoyed cleaning up so it was okay. she immediately made a beeline to the fridge and was pleased to find it fully stocked.

"well, we can't possibly think with empty stomachs...get over here and help me make breakfast!" amethyst said while already getting eggs and cheese out.

the two alphas cooked and talked about the date. luckily they had bought themselves enough time to plan and execute the marvellous date.

sapphire suggested that they take azure to a five star restaurant that she had passed by on her way home. but amethyst had a much more fun plan because she had a hunch that both her mates loved a little adventure.

as amethyst plated their eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches she grinned which immediately alerted sapphire because she knew that the alpha had caught a stroke of genius.

they sat on the couch on opposite ends facing each other and sapphire threw a little gray throw blanket on them.

"okay so imagine this-"

saturday rolled around as quickly as the three lovers had hoped fortunately for them. the day started off quite shockingly for the alphas as they saw that it was actually a very warm and sunny day, contrary to what the weather broadcast had said about rain pouring on the day.

amethyst took this in stride and slid out of bed at 8am for a quick shower to calm her nerves. she was so surprised that she was this nervous about the date... she was never really nervous about anything ever but she guessed taking out your potential mates can do that to you.

when she got out she grabbed her phone quickly texting her favorite alpha.

amethyst;): good morning bluey. i hope you're up and getting ready because we're picking azure up at noon.

while she waited for a response she texted her favourite baby.

amethyst<3 : good morning pretty baby. just reminding you that I can't wait to see you at noon today. sapphire and i have a good day planned for you.

she immediately got a response from the omega.

pretty baby<3 : good morning alpha. I'm getting ready right now. I'm excited to see you both :)

amethyst smiled at azure's pure eagerness and then she got a reply from sapphire.

sapphire;) : good morning love. yeah I'm up... just got out of the shower. will you pick me up or should I come get you?

amethyst;) : i'll come get you at 11 <3

azure was losing her mind. she had been up since 7am to make sure she had enough time to look her very best by the time her alphas came to get her.

she had bathed in all her favorite soaps and shampoo that were pineapple and vanilla scented. the bath took her a long while because she wanted to make sure she smelt her very best.

after her bath she sat in her towel debating weather she wanted to block her natural omega scent or not. she didn't want to go into this potential relationship with secrets and she trusted her alphas already anyway. she decided not to hide her scent. worst case scenario they'll know that i'm an omega and might not take me seriously as a business woman... but thea said that would never happen though.

she dropped the debate and decided to just go as herself.

picking her outfit was the worst part. previously amethyst had told her to be warm and comfortable and later texted her to be comfortable enough for physical activities so she had picked out gray leggings with a pink hoddie and a gray puffer jacket with some sneakers but now the weather had changed. it was hot out there.

dang it weather why did you change cause now I have no outfit.

she caught herself whining and decided there would be none of that today. she was going to look for a solution instead.

azure decided on a pastel yellow tennis skort that ended about four fingers from her knees, a white spaghetti stap t-shirt and white converse. she grabbed a cropped yellow cardigan to put over the t shirt but not close up because she felt a little too exposed. (so the idea is in the media if you don't get what I'm saying...just swapped the collared shirt for a spaghetti strap top and changed the colour of the skirt:))

she didn't dress up very often because she never did anything but work so she didn't really know what her style was but she knew she liked light colours and looking cute. on final thought she decided to add pastel yellow socks with a lace trimming that would show above the converse.

yeah now I look perfect. Azure grinned at her reflection in the mirror happily. the outfit was the perfect balance of cute but also allowed her to do all the physical activity she wanted thanks to the skort and converse.

now she did a little make up to cover up little spots and blemishes but not too much because she didn't want to sweat it all off. she put on a pink gloss on her lips and called it enough.

to say she was nervous was the understatement of the century. she could not even sit still as she watched the clock in her hall way strike 11am. although she was ready she felt like she didn't do enough and was just not good enough for the gorgeous alphas.

if only she new how pretty she looked to the alphas.
