Chapter 19

tori's pov
"i'm sorry but visiting time is over you will need to leave" the doctor came in and said.

mitch, brendan, my mom and dad all nodded their heads my mom and dad came over and gave me one last hug saying that they will be back in the morning. brendan came over then gave me a hug and left with my mom and dad then it was just mitch left.

"i want to stay here with you" mitch said and pouted then he gave me a hug.

"i want you to stay as well but i'll be fine.. i promise" i said, mitch nodded his head.

"okay, i love you baby" mitch said and gave me a peck on my lips and before i knew it he left.

i looked up at the ceiling and started to fall asleep. i never got much sleep for all the nurses coming in and making sure i never fell into another coma. before i knew it, it was morning the day i get discharged from the hospital.

i looked at the time and that's when mitch walked in with a smile on his face.

"i hear that you are getting discharged today" mitch said with a smirk and i couldn't help but smile.

"yup and i can't wait to go home" i said with a small smile playing on my lips.

mitch came over and kissed me.

"well let's get you home" mitch mumbled against my lips.

"i agree i'm fed up of staring at the same 4 walls" i said.

mitch laughed then he helped me out of the bed. we both walked to the front desk and signed some papers and i was free to go. mitch helped me to the car and i smiled at him. i got into the passenger seat as mitch got in the drivers seat.

"thanks babe" i said and he looked over at me.

"for what?" mitch asked.

"for being here for me" i said and looked over at him as he started to drive.

"i just want to make sure your okay, and i am here for you because your my girlfriend" mitch said as he rested his hand on my thigh.

"d-do we know who done this?" i asked and looked at mitch. i saw him tense and he looked scared.

"umm no we don't" mitch said and i sighed, why do i feel like he's lying...

we soon got back to the house and mitch once again helped me out the car and into the house.

"we're home!" mitch shouted into the house. i winced a little since my head is still sore and i cuddled into mitch.

"sorry baby" mitch said as he kissed my forehead, i hummed against his chest to let him know it was fine.

once everyone said hi and gave me a hug, i went upstairs to my room and i lay down on my bed. i rolled over onto my side and started to fall asleep. i felt the other side of the bed dip and arms wrap around my waist. i turned around and buried my head into the person's chest and i knew it was mitch.

"want anything?" mitch spoke softly.

"no i'm good" i mumbled against his chest.

"okay" mitch said as he kissed my forehead.

"do you have a game tonight?" i asked and looked up at mitch.

"yeah we do" mitch said.

"who is it against?"

"edmonton" mitch said.

"i wish i could play" i said and looked down at the cast on my arm.

"i know baby but you will play again soon" mitch said as he gave me a peck on the lips.

"i know" i said and sighed.

mitch pulled me closer to him and i buried my head into his head and i started to fall asleep in mitch's arms.

~ couple hours later ~
i woke up to an empty bed and i knew mitch would be away for the game or he went to his room. i went on my phone and checked the time 3:30pm. i heard my bedroom door open and mitch walked in wearing a suit. he walked over to me and gave me a quick kiss.

"i need to go baby" mitch said.

"okay "

"i will score for you" mitch said and gave me a hug before he started out the door.

"okay i love you" i said with a smile playing on my lips.

"i love you more" mitch said and then he left.

i walked downstairs and got the pain meds i needed to take then sat down next to brendan.

"how you feeling sis?" brendan asked.

"i could be better my head hurts and my wrist hurts" i said.

"well you did break your wrist and you have a concussion" brendan said and i slapped his shoulder.

"no shit sherlock" i said and turned my attention to the tv to where the leafs were warming up.

the game was going good, during first period there was no goals but however during the second period Engvall scored first then edmonton made a comeback. it was now 2-1 edmonton by the end of the second.

i really wish to be on the ice but stupid things have to happen to me. i kept watching the game but my head was killing me so i got comfortable on the couch and started to fall asleep.

look who has finally posted, okay so i am back for good (hopefully) but here's this chapter it's a filler type of chapter but yeah enjoy this well deserved chapter.
