Sirius's pov

I fluttered my eyes open. My head started banging so bad and my back hurt. I shuffled in bed and saw Scarlett.

She was sleeping on the chair next to me and she was shivering. I pulled a blanket from next to me and put it on her .

I put a strand of hair behind her ear . She looked so peaceful and free . Her hair was messy and her cheeks were flushed .

I smiled at how angelic she looked .
I hate her. She can't be with a disowned child .

Scarlett's pov

I opened my eyes and saw Sirius . His eyes looked at mine . We couldn't speak . We just stared at each other like our eyes were chatting.

"How do you feel?", I asked breaking the eye contact. "My back and head hurts a bit.", he said and I nodded.

"What happened ?", he asked . "Don't worry about it .", I said and stood up .
"I'm going to my dorm.", I said and he nodded.

I left the hospital wing with tears in my eyes . Saving him was the only solution I had . I hate him but I had to .

*after a week*

I was sitting in the Gryffindor common room with everyone reading my book . I wasn't paying attention to anything around me .

"Scarlett , Severus wants to talk to you .", Dorcas said and I nodded.
"Really choosing Snivellous .", Sirius said and laughed . "I'm worried about him.", he added and laughed .

"He probably doesn't love you anyways .", he said. I stared at him. What is his problem? I didn't mess with him and he is doing this .

"You know what .", I said and stood up . "Even if he doesn't, I don't care because actually no one does . No one ever liked me anyways . I was always fucking bullied for being a mud - blood being weird and not sociable , no one actually wanted to be my friend . They just wanted autographed pictures from my parents . My father who died in a car accident last year . He was the only one who supported me and my mother who always says stay away from people they want your money I don't give a shit about money . If you hate me then go ahead , no one loves me okay!.", I said and stormed off the common room.

I ran through the halls til I arrived at the black lake . I fell to my knees and sobbed in my hands . I never trusted anyone but now I trusted Marlene , James , Remus , Peter , Mary , Severus and Dorcas . Not Sirius .

Sirius hated me with no reasons and I hate him . So much . I hate myself . I hate how awkward I'm sometimes. How shy I get when people congratulate or tell me something.

I hate how I listened to my mother all these years . I lost 15 years in my life just investing them in books .

I couldn't communicate with anyone either . Being a mud - blood always left a gab between people and I.

Even though Severus says he likes me but his actions don't show that . I talk to him but he gets bored easily. He doesn't listen to what I say half of the times . He only listens to me when he asks questions about me .

Marlene . I love her . Being her best friend was one of the best decisions I made through my life . Having her by my side when I'm not okay, laughing with her til we fall asleep .

I just . No one understands. No one knows how much I struggled in life . It's not always about money . It's not always fame. It's what you get from living. In the end memories is all that's left.

I sat at the black lake staring at the water til it got dark. Today was a full moon. So I sat and looked at the stars and the moon til I heard howling . A wolf.

The voice appeared from the forest . Curiosity took over me and I walked towards it . There stood a werewolf .
I tried walking backwards but I stepped on something and now it faced me .

Anger was filling it's eyes . It's eyes stared at mine and it moved towards me . I kept backing up til I bumped into someone. Sirius .

He stood in front of me protecting me from the were wolf . "When i bark run .", he said facing me and I nodded.
He transformed into a dog and barked . I ran . As fast as I could not looking behind me .

I arrived to the Gryffindor common room and I sat on the couch trying to calm down . Everything was so fast.
How did he transform? What was he doing there ?

"Scarlett?", Marlene whispered coming out of her dorm. "I looked for you all day where were you?", she asked .
"At the black lake.", I whispered .

"Are you okay?", she asked sitting next to me and I nodded . Just tired a little.
"Where is the rest?", I asked . "They are all asleep.", Marlene replied .

"Sirius?", I asked . "Asleep too.", she added. "Come one you need rest.", she said and we stood up heading towards our dorm . I changed and laid on bed .

Who was the werewolf ? And if Sirius was asleep , why did he come to the forest at that time?

I kept asking myself questions but I couldn't help my curiosity so I got out of the common room and headed towards the library.

I need to find answers about how Sirius transformed .
