Sirius

"Marlene and Scarlett are not here yet.", Peter said taking a sip from his coffee . "Let's check on them Scarlett didn't look well at all and Marlene you know.", i said and they all nodded .

We all stood up and went back to the common room . I knocked on the door .
"Can we come in.", i said .

"Scarlett answer me .", Marlene yelled from inside . I looked at James and opened the door . Marlene was knocking on the bathroom door .

I looked at her . "Where is she?", i asked . "Inside .", Marlene said and started knocking on the door . The shower was running inside but we heard sobs .

I opened the door by using the unlocking spell . Marlene and i entered and we saw Scarlett in the shower hugging her knees and crying .

I walked towards her , i closed the water and sat in front of her . She raised her head and looked at me . That didn't make her stop crying but it made it worse .

"Hey , hey , what's wrong?", i asked cupping her face . "I'm tired .", she said and pulled down her sleeves even more . I pulled her towards me and hugged her .

"I'm so bad Sirius .", she said between sobs . "I'm bad for everyone .", she added . "Shh , don't say that .", i whispered and stroked her hair .

"You saved me Scarlett.", i said .
"You made me happy .",i added.
"I'm sinking deep Sirius.", she said and she was shivering from the coldness of the air .

I wrapped my arms tighter around her to keep her warm. "I'm sorry .", she cried. I looked at Marlene and told her to go to classes with the rest and she nodded .

I took Scarlett and placed her on her bed . I walked towards her dresser and got new clothes for her . "Can you change or?", i asked and she nodded .

I handed her the clothes and i sat on Marlene's bed until she finished . I stood up and i laid on bed with her .
I wrapped my arms around her and she put her head on my chest .

I stroked her hair . "Sirius.", she said .
"Yeah.", i replied . "Why do you not talk to Regulus?", she asked . I took a second to reply . "He is one of them.", I said . "I hate him for that.", i added.

Scarlett

A tear slipped from my eye when he said those words . I'm one of them too.
He will hate me . I know he will . I will have nothing to do anymore.

"Do you still love him a little?", i asked.
"I don't know anymore but what i'm sure about is that I don't.", he said .
I was silent. Nothing can bring his love for his brother back . I can't.

Life sometimes sounds like a battle . You have the good side and the bad side but there is good in the bad side and there is bad in the good side but people don't see it that way because people don't see the inside , they only see the outside.

I love Sirius . I love him with my whole heart but Regulus isn't bad . He is just misunderstood.

Sirius

"Look brother.", i said . "It's really easy .", i said . "But I cannot do it .", Regulus said dropping his wand to his side .

"Who brings you happiness in this world?", i asked . "You.", he said and a smile creeped to my lips . "Then think about me.", i said. "You can do it big man.", i said and he smiled .

He shut his eyes , took a deep breath and opened his eyes . "Expecto patronum.", he said and a dragon appeared above us flying in the sky .

He laughed with happiness. I ran towards him and hugged him.
"You did it big man.", i said .
"I love you Sirius.", he said .
"I love you more than anything Reggie.", i replied .

I smiled at the thought but I remembered how we are now . Two brothers who hate each other more than anything. He is a death eater . He chose it . He wanted it . He chose family over life.

I . I chose life over family .
Scarlett was asleep now . I heard a faint knock on the door . I stood up trying not to wake her up .

I opened the door and there he stood . Brown hair covering his eyes . He looked at me like he wished he never saw me . I looked at him like he is the only thing i wanted to see .

"Is Scarlett here?", he asked.
"Why?", i asked trying to keep the blank expression on my face .
"Is she here or not?", he asked .
"She is asleep.", i said .
"Okay.", he said turned around .
"What do you want from Scarlett?", i asked . He stopped turned to look at me .

"The same thing everyone wanted me to be .", he said turned around and left .
What does he mean everyone wanted me to be ?

I shut the door and sat back next to Scarlett .

"Family or life?", he asked when we sat on the roof of our manor . "Life.", i said . "What about you?", i asked .
"I'm still young to choose.", he said and i laughed .

"Just make sure you don't regret your decision later in life .", i said and he nodded . "Do you ever think about us living in a cottage away from everyone , just us , with no money , no house elves , nothing?", i asked .

"I thought about it.", he said .
"With mum and dad?", he asked .
"I don't know Reggie.", i said .

"Do you love them?", he asked .
"Yeah.", i said . "Do you love me?", he asked . "More than you think i do .", i replied with a smile .

"We will never be separable , right?", he asked . "Never.", i said . "Let's go down.", i said and he nodded .

He was my best friend , my brother and everything i had but nothing stays as it is .

It will never be the same again cause look at us now . We are separated . Our biggest fear happened .
