06: Crush on who?

Eren POV

"Hey brat, aren't you gonna grab my hand?" Asked Levi who just looked really nice in the sunlight. "S-sorry" I stuttered for the first time in forever. "You haven't stuttered since you got to know me, I wonder why that is" He wondered. "M-maybe because of this experience" I stuttered again.

Levi didn't say anything and just examined my face and touched me.

"Huh?! W-what are you doing?!" I yelled nervously. "Checking for injury. Why are you like this? When you fell all the time I did this, but you never react like this" He asked again.

"Let's just go" I said avoiding the question.

"So? What brought up the topic with your parents?" Levi asked seriously. "My friend Mikasa from elementary school, she managed to make me remember the reason I'm living with you in the first place" I said. Levi remained silent. "Hey Levi...." I whispered.

"Yeah?" He asked. "What do you know about my parents? What where they like? I'd like to know" I said.

"You father was a hard working man, and your mother was a very kind woman. I became friends with your father when we met at the hospital. My arm had to get stitched" Levi said while driving to our house. "Why did you need the stitches?" I asked. "It was an accident with a knife, that's all you need to know" He said.

"I'm grateful, you got me that air conditioner when I was a kid. You were always there for me" I smiled. "Do you remember our promise, Eren?" Asked Levi. "Promise? What promise?" I asked. "You....dont remember?" He asked shockingly. "I don't remember much of the things I did as a kid" I replied. "Maybe it's...best you don't remember...." Levi sadly replied.

"Levi.....what am I to you....?"

"What?" He pulled up at our house and turned to me shocked. "You've been taking care of me for years, what am I to you?" I asked again seriously.

"Your....your family....." Levi said stuttering his answer a bit.

I don't know how he feels about me. Hes never been one to show much emotion.
