10: The Love Talk

Levi POV

I ran in and barged through the door by giving it a hard kick.

"Shoot him down!" one of the guards said as he grabbed his guns. "Fuck! What's up with this guy!?" one female guard yelled when she saw how fast I was running around the room and moving around.

I slit 3 guards throats and stabbed 4 of them until I used the rifle Mikasa gave me to shoot the last one that was heading this way. "Shit, I couldn't have him snitch on me" I whispered.

At this point, my face was all covered with blood of my enemies.

"Tch, you all can come now, it's safe" I whispered to them. "Yay! Great job Levi!" Shit glasses said. "What else are we supposed to do Hanji?" Asked Mikasa.

"I'm gonna need an Ackerman to go with Moblit to disable all security cameras in the office; which means it'll most likely be guarded." Hanji said. "And if I'm correct, I remember the office being over near the kitchen, across the castle"

"I'll go with Moblit, I want you to protect Eren, Mikasa. I don't trust myself to do it. He's been acting strange around me lately and I don't want to risk it" I said walking next to Moblit. "B-but Levi...." Eren whispered trying to say something.

Mikasa stayed close to him.

"I'll assure you Levi, I'll keep him safe" She said. "Me, Eren, and Mikasa will go assassinate the queen" Hanji said running to the opposite direction where I was going with Moblit.

Before turning around, I saw Eren's face.

The face of a child who's lost so much already...

He can't loose me too.....

I'm all he has....

"Levi, could you take on those 4 guys without noise, we're not far from other guards" Moblit whispered. "I can do anything, I'm strong" I said quickly grabbing two knifes from my pocket and using them to slit the throats of the four guards. "Hurry, we have to help them" I said to Moblit who already began running inside the room.

"This shouldn't take more than 5 minutes" He said getting on the computer. "Eren...." I whispered under my breath so Moblit wouldn't hear me, but he did.

"Are you thinking about Eren?" He asked. "N-No, I mean- he's just the kid I took care of when his parents died. Nothing more" I said. "What is he to you?" Moblit said continuing to ask questions. "He's family" I replied not liking my own answer.

"Do you love him?" He asked. "What? Why would I? He's just a damn brat" I coldly said. "You seem so care a lot about him, don't you? And you wish to protect him. You think about him constantly" He continued. "Maybe I do. I don't know anything about love. That brat is 10 years younger than me any ways. I know he doesn't feel the same" I sadly said.

Moblit remained on the computer while we still talked "How do you know that? You've never even talked to him about this"

"That's right. I haven't, business I still can't. It's wrong for me to be in love with my friends child" I said holding my face to my right hand. "To me, age doesn't matter. If you love someone, who cares how old they are?" He said.

"I...I love that brat...." I finally admitted to myself.
