I hope this isn't another goose chase and the PI doesn't have the goods. Seattle is rainy as usual and seems dreary. I definitely like El Paso better. But maybe I should think of moving on from there, too many memories and making me sad. I had my assistant make a reservation at the best place with a lot of security around. Morton is not a good person and is not above killing me. I have CPOs but this guy is slippery and has gotten past them before. I have the scar to prove it. Three days in the hospital and my grand daughter taken from me and our CPO. Carla set the whole thing up and had taken the baby from me as Morton beat me up. They stayed under the radar until now.
PI Fred Lewis
I tried to find out from the hospital where the young Jane Doe was that they had reported nationally was at. They told me they couldn't tell me anything about her unless I was a policeman and then only with a warrant. I decide to head to police headquarters and explain the situation to them and they tell me to wait so they can verify who I am really. Wow talk about red tape and suspicious police. They finally found that I am who I say I am and Mrs Ford has verified it. They also looked into the El Paso cases. It took about six hours sitting, waiting and being asked questions to try to throw me off what I came here for.
Georgia
I get a call from the Seattle police department asking me if I hired Fred. Yes he has been trying to find my granddaughter and hopefully the Mortons. I am from El Paso and you can talk to them about the Ford cases.
Detective Phillips
I get a call and I have to go find out what's going on. So I head to the station, I see a weathered guy looking frustrated talking to the cop on desk duty. The cop points at me and says he might have your answers for you. Oh joy.
Fred Lewis
I introduce myself and explain to him everything that I explained five time already to various people. So many cops so little patience. I notice a guy in an expensive suit arrive along with several body guards. This is getting interesting to say the least. I am asked to join detective Phillips and the other four gentlemen in his office. I follow behind the detective and the others are right behind me. Talk about nervous. These guys are serious about their protection even in a police station. No doubt wealthy, but probably not a swathe as my employer.

Okay can you tell me who hired you and how you came to be looking for the Jane Doe we were trying to ID recently?
Fred Lewis
I ask him who he is to begin with and what does he need to know and why. I tell him we need to make sure this is the child that was taken in El Paso and also about the Mortons and how they had a hand in taking her from her relatives. Her mother and stepfather are wanted for kidnapping her in El Paso. Her grandmother has been looking for her since she was a toddler.
Detective Phillips
Well the Mortons are both dead, he beat her and left her bleeding and she died on the way to the hospital. Morton was killed in a shootout . (Not telling him it was after breaking into the Grey's property). He isn't shocked. Okay so the grandmother is looking for her grand daughter. Can we talk to her and can you provide some proof of her being related. I show him the bird birthmarks and her medical records along with photos of the toddler and her as an infant. I also show a picture of Carla and Morton.

Even though I am tired, I tell Fred to bring everyone to the hotel and I am in the top floor. So he says to get all my paperwork ready for them to see we are for real. I have to go get everything ready and get dressed, because I wasn't expecting to meet with anyone this late. I want to see if this is really my grand daughter. He shows me the same thing the cops had in their files. But this time she is different looking. She looks so much better than the one before and in the hospital. I think the PI might not be getting the whole story.

We head to the hotel and we have our own files and we are going to assure this is indeed Jennas grandmother. I think mom and dad have became attached. I know Jameson had and is very protective of Jenna now. He definitely has a way with babies as well. And to think all this started with Ana defending him for stealing a cupcake for his sisters birthday. Otherwise we probably would have never been involved. But the kids are great and they love they are going to have a new sibling. Ana's bump is growing daily, I am so happy.
Carrick
Detective Phillips I think we should advise her that the Mortons are dead and go from there.
Detective Phillips
I agree, we can probably close a couple of cases once we get all the evidence compiled.
PI Lewis
I knock at the hotel door and Georgia looks great for a granny. I introduce everyone, but the CPOs, they introduce themselves to her like gentlemen. We are allowed to enter after her CPO moves back and let's us in per her nod.
Three hours later we have set up a meeting between Georgia and her grand daughter and plan to surprise her with her great grand babies. It has been a very eventful three days and everyone is still on edge.

I was sound asleep when Carrick came to bed exhausted and I hear Christian calming Ana down and he tells her something I can't make out. Carrick says it's good and bad news let's sleep and I will tell you in the morning.
