Elliott
I wake a full out female scream and it's not the good kind. I notice the bed is wet on Kates side. Oh crap, I call an ambulance and get security ready to get Kate to the door. I look and she's laying on the bathroom floor unconscious. I call out for help and the housekeeper comes in and rushes over to help me with Kate. The EMTS thankfully have entered and asked us to move back. They question how long she has been unconscious. I tell them I think about five minutes and her water has broken. I call mom as I grab our go bags for the hospital. I ask the housekeeper if she can clean up the bed and bathroom. She says yes and tells me to get to the hospital now. A pushy motherly type related to Gail Taylor, Christians house manager. She cooks and cleans like Gail.
Three hours later they had to do a c section on Kate she hasn't been conscious since her scream.
Grace
She should come around once the anesthesia wears off. So have you seen your daughter yet?
Elliott
She looks like both of us Ava Renee Grey and loud. She's waking up all the other babies. Something that tiny with such strong lungs. 18 inches and 4 pounds 5 ounces. They think there was a mistake on her due date and she's a few weeks early.
Grace
Some babies are just tiny. I have seen tinier and full term. Did you get to hold her yet?
Elliott
Yes after they got her to the nursery. They got her on formula right away. Not sure what Kate decided on breast or bottle feeding. But Ava was hungry so I told them to feed her. Security is watching over her and outside the door. Kates being guarded as well. Christian definitely makes sure we are safe.
Three hours later a very groggy Kate has opened her eyes looking around.
Kate
Where is our baby?
Elliott
Thank God you are awake and she's in the nursery, they had to do an emergency c section on you. The baby is fine loud but fine. Once the dr sees you we can have her brought in to visit you.
Kate
Go get the dr to clear me already. I want to see my baby please.
Grace
I have held Ava and she is beautiful but a demanding little thing. I can't wait to see how Kate and Elliott handles this one. They are good with their nieces and nephews. Elliott keeps trying to get Jameson interested in construction, but he is determined to become a doctor. That was before he came into our lives. Again we have no clue what homeless people were and how they can influence children in their midst. It seems as if it was a good influence. Jenna herself without undue influence made a choice for her children that most adults don't have to make. The Morton's were horrible to her, yet she survived and is nothing like them. Georgia says she thinks babies are born good for the most part. Timothy gave her a good start in life and the love he showed her was why she is the person she is today. Along with strong caring people to show her a better way to live her life. I know Georgia has moved to Seattle just to have her only sons child and her children in her life. I knew she would.
Carrick
I finally arrive with our four newly adopted children at the hospital to see their new niece. We were able to push through the adoption and just waiting on the paperwork to become final which is in a week. Elliott, Christian and Mia has had their things packed up from their old rooms so their new siblings cam make them their own. Jenna finally broke down and asked for something. She wants to learn to drive. So does Jameson. Christian was frantic, but we talked him down along with Ana. Taylor said he knew a good driving instructor. I can well imagine him or her being a driving instructor to avoid being taken hostage, or their charges. But I trust Taylor's choices. He and Roz were the some very good hires he made. But Gail was an excellent hire. Grace even agrees with me on that.
Jenna
I am going to be an official Grey in a week and will be Jameson's cousin. Oh well he can always be a friend as well. Carrick told me that I will be trained to drive and to be prepared. I have been studying the BMV manuals along with my GED. I take the test in a week. Jameson wasn't gone from school long, so he tested out well. He is a senior and will be graduating in June. Which isn't long. After being with three children all mine, I realized that I made the right decisions for us. I am good at handling them all, but financially I could never take care of them and they deserve what the Grey's can give them and so do I.
Jameson
I am going to have settle being cousins and friends with Jenna and go from there. I will always protect her and her children no matter the circumstances though. Christian told me he has set up my driving training and it will start soon. Taylor will be handling it. I was taken to get my kerns by Ana. Christian is checking on safest cars for a novice driver. Ana told him to buy a good used one.
Ana
My husband doesn't realize not everything has to be brand new. A brand new expensive car would make a statement to Jameson's classmates about him being from a wealthy family. Why attract unwanted attention and users by buying expensive and new for a teenager.
Christian
I never thought about it that way, so I ask Taylor to see what he can find and have Jameson go with him. We finally make it to Kate and Elliott and our new niece Ava. Omg she has some lungs on her. Elliott and Kate look like they haven't slept. Ana and I didn't for the first two weeks after Theodore came home.
Ana
We brought Jameson with us to the hospital so he could see Taylor driving us. Taylor was telling him what to do and not to do and also told him the guy he has teaching m has a daughter who drove as soon as her feet reached the pedals. He of course is a stunt driver/CPO. I don't think I want to know where he knows the guy from. Christian has told me it's best not to ask questions, Taylor is a can of worms best left unopened. Ava is like Kate a squeaky wheel that needs oiled lol. They even released Ava and Kate early. Wonder why?
