Ana had been approached as the attorney for Jameson Adams for some reason the police found evidence of Mortons selling of Jennas other two babies. She asked that I step in if I would and could to handle it. CPS caseworkers are appalled at how they missed the cases. Morton got money for the babies alright. But he made all kinds of mistakes and both babies ended up in foster care. His big mistake was thinking he could sell these babies over and over again. He gave the cops a fake everything and couldn't get the babies back. Carla wasn't the best of care givers, and the cops were called out. She forgot where she left each baby. So both babies were put into the system. I reached out to the caseworkers for each of the babies making sure they were okay. I explained that I was foster parent to the mother of the two children and she was led to believe her babies had died.
Caseworker David James
I think we still have both in foster care, I need to check on them. We have so many cases, is there a really good reason why you are wanting us to ferret through this now?
Carrick
Yes, she wants her children back. I will be getting Guardianship and am attorney if record. I can have someone help you out with this if you want. The babies will have had no birth certificates filed, or you will have fake ones. They would be home births with no medical files until your agency got them. An associate of mine was called and alerted to your staff having these children in foster care. So someone has the files and is trying to reach out.
Caseworker James
Oh crap, okay I know who is involved, let me get back to you on this.
Carrick
Like hell you will get back to me, you get that caseworker on the phone now. You know who I am and who my son is and we both can make life difficult for you specifically.
Caseworker James
Ahh there's the great Grey charm we all know about. You think my life is easy do you? Seriously I see it all here and bring it on. Because you can shine the light on how understaffed we are and overworked. We really care about these kids. I want these babies out of foster care believe me. Now I know the case and the caseworker, she is new and your daughter in law stuck in her mind and the boy and his siblings did as well. She reached out because of the boy asked about Jenna Ford and she has to do her best for her kids. She made a promise to the boy to try to locate Jenna and Jennas babies. The birthmark on the wrist, but she hadn't seen that Jenna is a foster of yours. Ana Grey was the contact she had. I am. Reading her recent reports now. Hold on a moment, is dr Grace Grey your wife?
Carrick
Yes why?
Caseworker James
Well she was the attending physician when both babies were found.
Carrick
You know when she saw the birthmarks on Jenna and her babies she thought she had seen it before, but it slipped her mind where and when.
Caseworker James
I think we should run a DNA check to see if she's these babies mother. Because these children were pretty much considered abandoned we had to come up with birth certificates and names. Charles Gregory Talbot and Susan Elizabeth Thomas. So do you want to transfer these two into your card? Can you be setup within a week for young children?
Carrick
Of course I can.
Caseworker James
Well be prepared they are very close in age its like the mother was being used as a baby machine. No one reported this until Jenna became a nationwide Jane Doe. Cynthia Smith is the one who tried to find the mother. She had researched on her own time and finally found Louisa and the birthmark. I told her to reach out and she did. So let's get you and your wife in here and can I ask if you are wanting to adopt or become the guardians of Jenna and her children. She is 16 so she might want emancipation. I have to go over it all with her and my wife. But let's get the papers started on fostering and then we can work on the rest after we discuss it all. When can we get the children? Today if you want, the family they are with aged out of the foster care program. I mean they can't chase after a three and a four year old anymore.
Carrick
I can understand that, but as you know we have help from a lot of people. I will get Grace and be there in an hour is that okay?
Caseworker James
Sure is, I am pulling everything we need for what you might want. Adoption? Maybe?
Carrick
Yes let's go that direction and go from there. That way we can keep this family as it is together.
Caseworker James
My thoughts precisely.
Grace
I am sitting here again to talk to a caseworker, when I see two young children being brought in by a couple who looked to be close to seventy years old. I could be wrong. They look very familiar to me. Omg Ellen and George Smith if you were in foster care these would be the foster parents to have. Cynthia Reynolds was lucky enough to adopted by these two. Her mother left her in the emergency room after breaking her arm and leg intentionally. Her rights were terminated after looking at her medical records. The Smiths were a God send by a caseworker who just knew these two were Angels to there foster kids. I cried as they took Cynthia as she was crying for her brutal mother. Sadly the mother tried to block any adoption by having her drunken boyfriend lie and say he was the father. Thank God for DNA. I smile at them and they let someone know they are here. The kids have a suitcase in hand. But mr Smith us carrying two bigger ones. These two have been with them from the beginning you can tell. I get up and Carrick does as well. He has heard me speak of the Smiths and what they were to the foster care system. Carrick told me they had aged out of being potential foster parents sadly.
