George's POV
"Can you see color Dream? Is she your soulmate?" George brokingly let out.He didn't want to cry in front of him.
If anything he didn't want to cry at all.My god, I mean. Crying over him being happy. What the fuck George.
George never wanted to invade something like that, something he found so personal.
He actually avoided talking about it, switching subjects whenever George or others brought it up.
All he knew was that he met his soulmate and that they weren't dead but Dream didn't know that he knew.
All he knew is that he never talked about it or never invited anyone new over.
All except for the brunette.
The brunet watched as the happiness that was within in, soon escape him as if it was never there.
Watched as his bright yellow eyes soon turned dull.
Watched as his comfortable stance stiffened.
As is eyes didn't reach George's.
"I- is she Dream?" The soft glow to his skin was being exchanged with a redness that held back tears. "Please, just say something.."
"I- " His voice croaked. "I'm sorry George."
"NO DREAM, DONT SAY THAT! Don't fucking say you're sorry. Don't fucking say it."
They stood in the same room.
Dream at the front door, wearing a black suit and a dark green tie.
George at the doorway of the kitchen. He was in a more casual outfit since he stayed home all night. One of the blonds hoodies and a pair of black sweats.
And both knew why he was so dressed up..
The blond ashamed of what he did, it being shown all over his face.
The brunet was broken. Tears streaming down his face, his body had already made its way to the floor.
He tried to comfort him, only to be pushed away. "I'm so sorry Georgie."
"J-just Stop! JUST STOP DREAM! DONT CALL ME THAT!"
The sudden raise in his voice shocked Dream.
His eyes widen and he moved backwards towards the door.
Is he going to run..
"Don't call you what Georgie.."
"DONT CALL ME GEORGIE, JUST STOP!"
"Look George, I- I don't know why you're so upset. I didn't do anything, if anything I was just about to fucking leave."
George looked around him, only realizing he had another dream. Daydream? Nightmare?
He doesn't really know what they are himself.
His breath became heavier as he looked up at Dream and around the room.
His body sliding down against the wall and his knees coming to his chest.
Dream tried to walk towards the upset brunet but was only pushed away..again.
"I- I'm..sorry. Go see Hailey, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting." He forced out a smile as his eyes glistened from the tears that still flowed down his cheeks. "Go Dream, go ask her out. Go be happy, make her happy.."
