George's POV
5 months later.
"Hello?" George questioned. Getting a new phone was one of his to-do's once he settled back into his apartment, using his same number yet no one tried to contact him.
What did he expect?
The voice on the other side was quiet and breathes could hardly be heard. It was almost like whoever it was, was debating whether to talk.
"George.."
It was Sapnap.
After five months of no contact with anyone, he finally gets a call. But why?
No texts.
No calls.
Nothing but silence and nothing but his thoughts.
He did it to himself.
"George..he's, he's gone." His words were broken, his breath hitched.
Who?
"Sapnap, whose gone? What happened?" His words, the little information, it was worrying George. How could it not.
"Dream.."

It's been almost two days since George left.
He found one of his old phones, that somehow still managed to work but only very few people knew that number more less that it was still activated.
No one knew his mothers number and no one knew where he used to live before he moved to the US.
He was just by himself, but he can't complain.
He chose this. He walked onto that plane and he didn't look back.
He wanted to stay. He wanted Dream to show up, arms open wide and for him to want George to stay.
But what did he expect when he placed those letters far from the airport. He knew what he did, he wanted Dream to come but made it impossible for him too.
George looked back at Dreams house, he looked back at the diner.
He looked back at the taxi as it drove away.
But he didn't look back when he got into the airport, because if he did he wouldn't be able to go through with it.
The second he walked through his old apartment, he fell onto the couch.
Dust was on every piece of furniture, any food left over went bad, and he barely had clothes to make more than four outfits.
Why did he keep the apartment when he lived with Dream?
For many reasons actually, but this wasn't one of them.
But this, but that. He did this but he didn't want that. George just needs to sleep, that's all.
Sleeping the days away, staying in his bed with little nutrition, what else was he allowed to do?
Go outside?
Hard pass when you loss motivation to even brush your own hair.
As is eyes drift off once again, he lay there underneath the covers til he was kept awake by the sound on his phone.
It rang once, George didn't move.
It rang twice, George put the pillow over his head. It's probably just my mum.
Three times. The third ring, George stared at it as it vibrated on the wooden nightstand.
After the fourth ring, it stopped.
And George went back to drifting off to sleep.

Dream's POV
Dream broke up with Hailey.
Surprised? Not really.
It's more like Hailey found her soulmate and broke it off with Dream.
In two day? Coincidence probably.
It was bound to happen, it was just a matter of when.
Short black hair, shoulder length; bangs up front; sometimes she'd have more of a tomboy style whereas other days she'd be more dark and emo ish. They looked good together, but never once did Hailey ever mention about liking more than guys.
That, that was news to everyone but at least she's happy.
At least Dream isn't leading her on anymore.
At least she found her soulmate.

"Do you think he'll come back?" The blond looked up from the ground and back at Sapnap who was sitting behind the island.
"I don't know, it's been two days and almost three."
"That doesn't mean there isn't hope Sap.."
"Maybe that means there isn't hope Dream."

GOOD NEWS And somewhat bad
I GOT INTO THE EMT PROGRAM :))))
bad news, is they didn't tell us half the requirements til after i joined :( like i can't dye my hair anymore, i can't have my nose ring anymore, i can't get an eyebrow piercing, i can't have my fidget ring, and i naturally have long nails but i guessed that tbh but didn't really care about that one.
But hopefully this is only a one year course and i can't have it all back senior year.
ALSO IMMA RANT REAL QUICK. (mc related.)
I gotta realm with my brother right.
My ass went mining, and i kid you fucking not. I had 3-4 stacks of iron ore. (i had a silk pickaxe so i could use a fortune one when i got back.) 10 diamond ore, and about 1-2 stacks of coal ore. idk how much gold, red stone, or lapis i had but i also made a whole new set of iron tools and iron armor which let me mind you, i don't do often so i can be richer 😌.
I found two spawners RIGHT next to each other. The first one, skeleton. i added a torch and saved the coordinates. no more than i did that, my game lagged and i couldn't do anything. After like 6 minutes of logging back on, A FUCKING SPIDER KILLS ME NO MORE THAN I JOIN.
BUT HERES THE ICING ON THE CAKE. since i saved the coordinates, my brother gave me a pickaxe and some food. (this took no more than 2 minutes(the entire journey)) i went back
and everything was gone. despawned. it shouldn't of that quick. Very pissed but at least i'm still richer :)
