George's and Sanap's POV
"What do you mean, it's about Dream." The small brunet slowly let out.

Sapnap stood in silence. He couldn't believe he let that come out of his mouth.

How was I even going to explain it, it wasn't thought through.

What if I word something wrong and make it a much bigger deal.

What if I ruin their friendship.

What if he doesn't trust me anymore, it's like he's been living a lie for the past weeks.

I'm not wrong though. He really has been.

Wait..what if I say half of it.

It'll hurt like hell but I can't imagine him trying to remember Dream, especially when that would beat his whole purpose of erasing them.

"Sapnap, are you okay?"

"Y- yeah, sorry I'm fine."Rubbing his hand along the bottom half of his face, he let out a sigh. "Georgie, I'm sorry. Dream, he...he loves Hailey.."

George watched as Sapnap's lips parted as he talked, losing all comprehension of the conversation once he heard the last word.

Hailey..

He loves...Hailey.

Was I not good enough for him? Did I give him the wrong impression?

Why did I have to allow them to dance.

Why has my life been so fucked up lately.

Why can't I remember Dream after that party.

Why did I say we were just friends.

Why am I only realizing this now.

After all this fucking time why now.

It hurt Sapnap to see him like this, bringing back memories from when they left each other the first time. They needed a break from one another but both didn't plan on going back no matter how much they needed and longed for each other's touch.

At this point neither knew what to do.

Sapnap wanted to embrace him with a hug whereas George looked as lifeless as a corpse waiting for the casket door to shut.

He didn't speak a word, the brunet just stood there staring at the flooring beneath him.

The only thing that worried Sapnap, was if he was going to lose his best friend all over again..

He knew that George would sometimes forget to eat but whenever something got the best of him, forgetting turned into knowing.

He'd know he wasn't eating but he didn't feel like it.

Simply being confined in the sheets of his bed and letting the darkness consume him.

Sapnap just doesn't know how long he'll be able to keep this underlying secret much longer.

It is just a matter of when and how.
