Today, I finished my work early at my office. So, I left early in the afternoon. Since I had a lot of time, I decided to visit Hangang park. There were a lot of people in the park.
There were some young and old couples, some people who were playing with their kids.
It reminded me of all my desires of getting married and have kids. Living alone can get really sad sometimes.
I'm Y/N and I'm 25 years old. I came to Korea 2 years ago. Now, I have a well paying job that I'm okay with. But sometimes I feel like something's missing from my life.
BTS disbanded a few years ago. I was a die hard fan of them since I was 13. Now, they're married and some of them even have kids. Many hearts were broken when the news came out.
But everything's back to normal now. Most of the people don't even probably remember them now. But they're still in my heart in the same way. Especially my bias Jungkook. I'll never forget how they taught me to love myself.
I was lost in my thoughts. But suddenly I noticed a little girl running towards the road all by herself. I immediately ran to the road.
She had already gone to the middle of the road. I looked to my left and saw a car coming right towards her. I ran to the girl, pulled her in my arms and took her to the other side of the road.
She held onto me tightly and started crying being scared. I patted and rubbed her back.
"Shh.... It's okay. Everything is fine now." I said.
She stopped crying and broke the hug. She looked at me with her watery eyes. I wiped her tears and said,
"You're good girl, right? Good girls don't cry. Now tell me, where are your parents?"
She sniffed and said,
"I came here with my daddy. He told me to play with the other kids. I was playing with them and I accidentally came on the road."
"Oh. It's alright. But never go anywhere without elders, OK? It's really dangerous. Well, what's your name?"
"Jiyeon."
"Hi, Jiyeon. My name's Y/N." I said as I shook hands with her. "Let's go to your dad now. Where is he?"
"He's on a bench under the tree."
Jiyeon was in my arms pointing the way to where her father was. I went following her guidance.
"There's my daddy!" Jiyeon exclaimed pointing at a figure under the tree.
I couldn't see his face properly from far away. I put her down and said,
"Go to your daddy now."
"Thanks, Eonnie." she smiled and quickly ran to her father. I smiled and started wandering in the park.
[ A few minutes later ]
I was done walking in the park. So, I decided to head back home. I got out from the park and suddenly bumped into someone.
