Chapter 17

Y/N POV

I went to Ji eun's bed and stood beside Jungkook.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Y/N, my time is almost close. Please take care of Jungkook and Jiyeon."

I looked at Ji eun and then Jungkook not being sure about what to say.

"Ji eun, I will."

"Y/N, they don't have anyone else. Jiyeon needs the love of a mother and Jungkook needs a life partner, too. And no one else could be that better than you." Ji eun said.

"Uhm... I don't understand. What do you mean?"

"Jungkook will explain it to you later. Right, Kook?"

Jungkook and I both looked at each other. I waited for him to say something. But he didn't say anything.

[ A few months later ]

Ji eun died the very next day after we visited her. Jungkook and Jiyeon were very broken after her death. Jiyeon didn't even understand what was happening.

But soon they both came over it. And now life was back to normal.

Today, Jungkook called me to meet him, saying that he has a surprise. I was excited.

So I went to his place.

"Hi." Jungkook said as he opened the door.

"Hi." I waved at him.

He was wearing a bucket hat that covered his hair completely, a black oversized T-shirt and grey sweatpants.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I went inside.

"I was just working."

I forgot to tell that Jungkook is a free lancer. He worked from home. So that he could take care of Jiyeon and work at the same time. And he was really good with technology.

"Where's Jiyeon?" I asked.

"She's playing in her room."

"So, what's the surprise you wanted to show me?"

"Actually... " he slowly removed his bucket hat from his head.

And the sight made me choke on air.

Jungkook's hair was green!!!

And boy, I choked really hard.

"Is it that bad?" Jungkook said.

"No. This is... Magnificent!"

"Then why were you choking?"

"Cause, this is tooo beautiful!"

Jungkook POV

I looked at her choking. For a moment, I thought she hated it. But then she said she loved my new hair color.

"But why did you dye your hair all of a sudden?" she asked.

"I just felt like dying it. I dyed it myself." I said.

But to be honest, there was another reason....
