You weren't one to get frustrated easily. You handled conflict well, you juggled your busy schedule with great preciseness. But goodness had this week been long.
You were horribly busy with school. You had a five-page essay to complete, a math test to study for, two other essays, a book report, and a group project due all by the end of the week. On top of that, you worked your long shifts at the restaurant, 8 am to 9 pm. You had no idea how you were going to get everything done.
You'd been sitting at your desk for three hours now before you screamed in anger. You jumped up from your chair and paced the room.
"Breathe y/n, breathe," you tell yourself. You had no idea what to do. You'd barely gotten any sleep these past few days, maybe eight hours in three days. The coffee wasn't helping at all--fine it was coffee and Red Bull--and you just needed to sleep.
You shake your head, walking out of the office and into your bedroom. You walk over to your window, throw open the curtains, looking down at the beautiful New York City below. A small smile tugs at your lips. The bright lights of New York could always make you smile. You take the cold door knob in your hand and push the balcony door open, the cold air hitting your face and you suck in a deep breath. You lean on the balcony, the cool breeze letting your hair wave around like the tide.
"Okay y/n, we've got this," you whisper sucking in a deep breath, and closing your eyes, letting the moonlight hit your face.
You suck in one last breath, before heading back to your office.
~LOKI'S POV~
My heart pounds. Gods was she gorgeous.
How her y/c hair flowed in the wind, rippling like the waves of the ocean. How the moonlight hit her soft skin, giving her a goddess-like glow. Even though she was a mere Migardian, she was the most radiant goddess in my eyes.
I heave a sigh, as I watch her walk back into her apartment. My heart hurts as I yearn to talk to her, to hear my name fall off her lips.
But she'd never notice me.
Now, it sounds like I am stalking her, but I swear I am not.
It was a month ago when Stark ordered us lunch from some restaurant.
"Reindeer Games! Lunch is here, go get it!" he had snapped. I shot him a glare, about to give him a smart-alec remark, before Thor gave me that look. I rolled my eyes and groaned, climbing into the elevator.
I grumbled on my way down about how no one respected me. ME!! A god, a king.
As the doors slide open to the lobby, there stood a girl. My breath was stuck in my throat, and as I could not move, my body froze in place. Her big y/c eyes landed on me, and she flashed her radiant smile.
"Hi!! I think I have a lunch order for a Tony... Stank?" she asked, slowly approaching me. I blinked a few times, my tongue unable to move, and my brain could not form words. She laughed a bit, making my knees go weak. Who knew a small sound of happiness could be so beautiful?
"Are you... Tony Stank?" she teased. I jumped a bit and finally could speak... barely though...
"No. Loki. Loki L-" I began, but she cut me off.
