The Moment I Met You- I Didn't Like You

"Really George? You have never said no to a prank until now. Why?" "Listen, mate. Of course I like being an inconvenience to people, but Flitwick doesn't deserve that. He's been nothing but nice to us since our very first prank." I considered this. I mean, he had gotten us out of trouble loads of times, and making his voice go up three octaves during his lesson wasn't a very good way of showing gratitude. "Good point." I checked my watch. "See ya after class," we said in unison. I rushed off to the dungeons, hurrying to Potions.

"Ah Weasley, you have done about every single thing wrong. Was I not perfectly clear about the instructions?" "Well, Professor, I don't see what I did wrong. Enlighten me." Giggles came from all angles, and I tried to hide the smirk growing on my face. "Well, for starters, your potion is a deep shade of green, and the Wiggenweld potion is supposed to be purple." My face turned scarlet. I had never been an expert in anything, really, but Snape was so intimidating that every time he insulted me it felt
like a punch in the face. Oohs and aahs came
from all around as he stalked off to his desk.

As soon as the bell rang, I darted out of the classroom. I didn't waste a minute packing up my school bag, for I didn't even take anything out. I promised I would meet George right outside of the Great Hall before lunch, but I didn't want to show my face a minute more than I needed to. I put my head down, and power walked to the bathroom. Apparently, not looking where I was going was a lousy idea, because almost immediately I bumped into somebody. "Oops! Sorry!" she said, grabbing her books off of the corridor floor. I reached down to help her, and met her eyes for the first time. "Oh, um, I'm Y/N. And you're..?" "Oh! Fred! Fred Weasley!" "Nice to meet you Fred, if I may ask, why are you in such a hurry to use the loo? Are you in dire need of a latrine or are you going there to cry? Both are grand options. But, I must ask, do I need to be worrying about getting peed on, 'Fred Weasley'?" Woah. Awkward. I don't know how to respond to that one. "Yeah, actually, I suggest you move before I urinate all over you." I ran past her, not wanting to continuing the conversation. Why would I say I was going to pee on her? I will never recover from that one.

I was sitting at lunch next to Ginny, Harry, and George, devouring my apple pie, when Y/N came striding over to where I was sitting. "Oi! Weasley!" Ginny, George, and I all looked up. "Oops, Fred Weasley. Sorry, other Weasleys." I looked up, noticing her beautiful Y/E/C eyes for the first time. "Are you gonna urinate on me? Or did you get it all out of your system?" Ginny threw me a very confused look, and I shrugged and turned back to   Y/N. "Also," she said, stopping to giggle, "You have pie on your face." She reached up to my chin and wiped it off, and strangely enough, my heart nearly skipped a beat. No. I said to myself. You don't like this girl, you're just wondering how you told her you were going to urinate on her an hour ago and now she is wiping food off of your face. That had to be it. Because I could not fall for  Y/N. I just couldn't. Mark my words, these strange feelings I feel right now will never be felt again while I am around Y/N ever again.

"Freddie! Wake up!" I heard come from George's side of the room. I groaned and rolled over. "What. Do. You. Want." "Aggressive much?" he mumbled, before he turned on the lamp. "Are you going to tell me why that girl was asking if you were going to urinate on her? Freddie, don't tell me you-" "No! I didn't pee on her, I merely claimed I would pee on her if she didn't shut her trap. Now, can you do me a favor and shut yours?" He went dead silent, either fast asleep or comprehending these words. But I didn't care, because I just wanted a good nights rest.

Considering it was a Saturday, had to get up early
for Quidditch. I put on my robes and went down into the Great Hall for energy food. I planned on eating alone, but as soon as I set my tray down, Y/N sat down beside me. "Are you obsessed with me or just lonely?" I asked, with coldness in my voice. "Um... Both? I mean, I bumped into yesterday because I thought you were hot." "Really?" "No." My heart dropped for some strange reason. I mean, it meant nothing to me if she thought I was hot.. right? "Anyways," she began, "I am actually kinda lonely. My friend, Lavender, ditched me. So, I thought I would befriend you for the time being." I heaved a huge sigh. "Is that what I am to you? Just a temporary friend? Listen Y/N, you seen like a fine person, but I will not be treated like crap by you, so decide now if I am more than just your friend 'for the time being'" "Who there Freddie, I didn't know you were so passionate about our friendship. But sure, I will be nice to you, even if I don't mean it." Now I am wishing I hadn't said that speech. I think it was a pride thing, because she is one annoying specimen. I would find some way to ditch her. Maybe I could play a prank on her!

"George! I found the perfect target for a prank. But it had to be BIG. I think you can handle this one on your own, so go big!" Surely this would get Y/N off of my tail.
