We were sitting inside the car, the evening breeze brushed through my skin giving slight shivers down my spine. The scenery full of bright lights, moving fast in a blurred portrait. My mind still couldn't grasp everything, as it felt surreal.

I smiled, tugging Taehyung's jacket closer to my body as I faced the opened window. From the plain fields to the crowded streets, it's a change that I had taken a liking. Just looking at the scene makes me feel like this is where I'm supposed to be.

Wandering around the busy streets and buying coffee that the girls told me earlier. Shivering from the cold but you were used to it, unlike at the mansion, everything is provided with the finest materials but no freedom.

Enough with these dwellings on the past, I must look at the future ahead of me. Would I be able to pull it off? I've been stuck in a period where arranged marriage is a must for girls my age, a period where girls are a mere tool for power and money.

But I'm in the modern era now, and I'm planning on staying here as much as I want. I glanced at the man beside me, he was focused on driving, his bangs were being swept on the side. I must admit, he's a good-looking guy but it seems he doesn't care about anything aside from work, said by the intel from Lisa.

They were perplexed when they say Taehyung worrying for me, they say he's not usually like the way he's currently treating me. For me, it doesn't seem strange at all, it looks natural on him.

He's nice however after I changed into the girls' gave, he started creating a visible distance between the two of us. I decided to keep quiet, he must have a good reason to act that way. I shouldn't assume anything but rather be thankful that he offered to give assistance.

My lips let out a quiet sigh, admiring how the bright lights became tall trees as we passed by a sign. I glanced at Taehyung with confusion, he doesn't live in the city?

His eyes made contact with mine, he quickly shifted his gaze in front. "We're staying at my uncle's, we're almost there. The place might not fit your liking, is that alright?"

He asked, I muttered a low yes and looked away. The feeling of awkwardness didn't falter until the car moved to a complete stop. We were in front of a cottage, vines on the stone walls with stone pathways leading to the front door.

I inspected the area, it gave me a comforting atmosphere. Beside the house was a field full of vegetables, fruits, and even flowers. On the other side was a barn with a horse stable, the chickens were walking around with their heads up high. 

I chuckled, how cute...

My ears perked up when the door clicked, revealing Taehyung holding the door with a blank expression. I gave him a small bow of thanks before setting my foot out to the grassy ground. Slowly walking away from the car and stood before the cottage.

Taehyung walked bypassed me, tucking his hand inside his pockets, and not before long, he opened the door. He looked back at me with an awaited look.

"Are you coming in or you're planning on staying outdoors? If you did plan to stay outdoors, I wouldn't recommend," he looked down at my figure before leaning forward. His breath fanned beside my ear, making me flinch at his hot breath.

"I've heard that there are wolves nearby, I warned you," he pulled away with a smirk on his face before whistling inside the cottage. My mouth stammered but I quickly followed him. "I-I don't want to be eaten, I'll stay with you,"

He stopped in his tracks then looked back with a small smile. "Good choice,"

I freeze at his actions, promptly looking away as I found the wooden floor more amusing. 

"Ah, Taehyung-ie. Welcome back, you should eat more. Hyung is worried that you'll go thin, I could break you in seconds," a deep-voiced threatened. I looked up to see Taehyung, looking down on someone that almost have the same height as him.

My feet took a side step to take a look but I widen my eyes in surprise at the sight. It looks like a middle-aged man, holding a bowl of ice cream with a uniform costume on.

"Uncle, why are you wearing this onesie again? What if Aunt will scold you again for going out like that. You gave the neighbors a heart attack last time," Taehyung scolded but his uncle only laughed it away.

"Pshh, those nosy neighbors would never have something new to gossip if I don't wear this. Gotta do fan service, ya know," he replied, scooping a spoonful of ice cream.

Our eyes made contact and he pushed Taehyung to the side, his eyes brightened as he faced Taehyung with a teasing grin. I'm starting to feel that something bad--

"I never knew Taehyung has a girlfriend. You sneaky child, you really took after me, you punk," his uncle grinned as he walked towards me with open arms. He hugged me tightly, patting my back.

"What a lovely girl, why would you date that ogre? Did he threaten you? Poison? Hypnotize??" He asked with a worried gaze, I couldn't utter the word, sweat was trickling down my face as I did not know what to do in this situation.

The uncle was lifted and raised to the side, being dragged by Taehyung to their couch. "You're supposed to be my uncle, not a creep. Even though he was dragged, he still ate the ice cream comfortably.

"I was only worried about her. Who would be insane enough to like a cold gloomy kid? You always glare at me as if I'm not your uncle!" he whined, looking away as a child on a tantrum.

"I even wondered why I married you, you dumbass," a feminine voice cut them off. A lady wearing a nightgown was walking down the stairs, her hair slightly flowing. She looks dignified and well-mannered, the total opposite of her husband.

"You love me anyway," he grinned, standing up and kissed her on her forehead. I don't know why but it gave a slight squeeze on my heart. They were different but looked so in love.

I wondered if I could have a love like that too...

"You should rest, the girls wanted to meet up with you tomorrow morning..." Taehyung spoke, typing on his box called a cellphone. I smiled and followed him, looking back at the couple behind us.

Maybe someday, hopefully. 

One could love me too, for real.
