"Morning" I groan as I sit down to eat breakfast. Marissa is already there, humming to herself. Seiko decided to sleep in this morning so I headed to the great hall without her, not wanting to be on the receiving end of her morning attitude.
"Good morning!" Marissa chirps. She's nibbling at an english muffin with raspberry jam on it. I pick up a piece of fruit and begin to eat it just as Seiko joins us.
"Bitch 1 and Bitch 2 were loud again this morning" She says by way of greeting. I groan and Marissa rolls her eyes.
"I feel like they've been extra loud recently" I respond. It's true. Hydra and Ophelia have been gossiping and bickering very loudly every morning for the past couple weeks and it's getting on everyone's nerves.
"Did you say anything?" Marissa asks.
"No are you kidding? Hydra scares the shit out of me" Seiko repliess, looking appalled at the suggestion.
"You really need to get over that. She's just a spoiled bitch taking her family issues out on others. There's nothing to be scared of" I tell her, shoveling potatoes onto my plate.
"She's still scary as hell. With her bleach blonde hair and her piercing eyes. Bloody terrifying." She sighs.
"She's got a point" Marissa chimes in. I just sigh and eat my food. As I'm eating, I feel a light tap on my shoulder. I spin around wildly and grab the wrist of the mysterious person. I look up to see who it is. Ron.
"Hiya Emmeline!"
"Merlin's beard Ron. You scared the shit out of me"
"You shouldn't swear in front of him!" Marissa scolds. I laugh. I then notice that Ron is holding a bouquet of dandelions very tightly in one hand. They look dead.
"So what did you come over here for?" I ask him. He suddenly drops to one knee and extends his bouquet of dead dandelions out to me. He clears his throat and looks me dead in the eye.
"Emmeline Rosewood, would you make me the happiest boy alive and go on a date with me?" He asks finally. I try not to laugh because I can tell that he's serious.
"I- Ron. What?"
"Would you like to go out on a date? With me?" He asks as if I'm not understanding him. I suppose I'm not.
"Ron er.. That's very sweet of you but.."
"Yes? What is it?"
"Ron I'm too old for you. And I have a thing with your brother. And emphasis on I'm too old for you. But this was very sweet." I say, trying not to sound mean. He doesn't seem discouraged at all.
"That's alright! I've got time. For you Emmeline, I'll wait." He says and then scurries away. Seiko bursts out laughing and Marissa is giggling madly.
"Oh bugger off you two!"

"Yeah I'll lend you the notes" I tell Alicia as we leave class. We have a free period now so we head out separate ways. Me to the library and her to the Gryffindor common room. I have some serious studying to do for History of Magic and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Professor Quirrell barely teaches in the classroom and instead just gives a shit ton of homework. I'm racing to the library and accidentally bump into someone.
"Oh shit! Sorry. Oh wait nevermind. It's you." I say and then see that the person I bumped into is Pucey.
"No need to apologize sweetheart. And you are just the person I was hoping to see." He responds, grinning. I glare at him.
