Two Days Later

Steven hadn't slept in two days, because he was so scared of losing the call from the hospital. He was back in that state, the state he was in when they got in the fight, what drove Steven away. Steven wasn't in as deep as he was last time, Mina thought that she could pull him out of it. In the almost 2 years they have been dating, Mina has never been so worried about Steven. Nothing has really happened, but this is what could be the straw that breaks the camel's back, this is what could draw the line between everything that has gone on. This may break Steven forever, Mina may never get the Steven she knows back. But Mina prays that, that isn't the case. "Steven, c-can we talk?" Mina asked worryingly "Sure" Steven replied sadly "So, I know with all that is going on you can't really think straight right now. But I wanted to run something past you" Mina stated "Okay" Steven replied "So, last year with the whole Sheldon problem, that brought us together. That made us realize how much we need each other, and I think that's the case right now. So, I wanted to ask you something?" Mina explained "What?" Steven asked "What do you need? I know you want to be alone, but what else do you need other than that?" Mina asked "I-I think I need.." Steven paused "I-"  "What?" Mina persisted "I need you" Steven said softly "I need to talk to you, and I need to hold you and I need to know that I can count on you without pressuring you" Steven explained sadly "Okay, and how do you want me to do that?" Mina asked. Steven hesitated before he hugged Mina tight and she sat on his lap. He held her like this for a while just so he could feel her, just so he could know that she was here and that she wasn't going anywhere. "Hey" Mina said letting go, "What?" Steven asked *Kisses Steven* "I love you" Mina said softly "I love you too" Steven replied hugging her again. 

Steven held Mina close and wouldn't let go, he felt like if he did she would leave. He knew she wouldn't but he was still scared, "Mina?" Steven said softly "What baby?" Mina said hugging him "If I let go, will you leave me?" Steven asked sadly "What? No, why would I do that?" Mina questioned "I don't know, I just thought you would" Steven stated sadly "Hey" Mina said sitting up "I would never, I love you too much" Mina reassured "I love you too, Baby" Steven said cutely. Mina blushed at the name and buried her head in Steven's chest "Aww, is my baby embarrassed" Steven teased "Hey, you said it" Mina argued "Yeah yeah, but you are. You're a baby, you're my baby" Steven chuckled "Sure" Mina replied sarcastically "Love" Steven said randomly "What?" Mina replied "Love, that's what your name means. In German the name Mina, means love" Steven explained "Oh, how did you know that?" Mina asked "I searched it up" Steven stated "Oh, so you're not as smart as you look" Mina argued "Hey!" Steven exclaimed "What? It's true" Mina giggled. Steven kissed Mina softly before hugging her for a bit longer, after a while Mina got up and made lunch. Steven wouldn't let Mina out of his sight and Mina loved it, Steven would always hug her from behind or hold her hand if they went out. But he always did those thing. The difference was, he was doing it so he felt like he always has Mina and he could confide in her, so he could count on her. And that is what he always needed
