"How was your first day Denki?"

Shigaraki asked as Kamanari walked into the hideout and flopped on the couch.

"Terrible. Remind me again why I have to go to this stupid school? It's crawling with pathetic wannabe heroes"

He snarled as he chucked his backpack against the wall.

"Because you're the only one here who could complete this critical mission Just hang in there, you won't even finish out the year"

Kurogiri replied from behind the bar.

"Did you make a list of your classmates quirks like I asked you too?"

Shigaraki asked.

"Oh yeah right here"

Kamanari reached into his pocket and uncrumpled a sheet of paper which had the names of all his classmates and their quirks.

"I don't know anything about them really. I haven't been able to see their quirks in action besides completing a bunch of stupid tests"

He said handing over the paper to Shigaraki.

"Did you make any new friends?"

Shigaraki teased. Kamanari shot up angrily.

"Why would I be friends with those pathetic jerks. They're all so full of themselves with their self-righteous heroism. They're so quick to judge others who don't share their view of what's right and what's wrong. Where were the heroes when my parents were getting massacred? Huh? You guys saved me and took me in. If anything you guys are the real heroes, but society has branded you a villain just because they feel intimated by you. I hate every single one of them and I can't wait to wipe those smug grins off their faces"

Well all except for one

Ever since he ran into Kyoka Jirou, his mind would always wander to her. It didn't help that she sat right next to him in class. He found himself stealing glances at her more often then he would care to admit. He shook his head and tried to remember his mission.

Even if she does seem pretty cool, she's a hero. She's the enemy

"Hmmmm Endeavor's kid is in your class?"

Shigaraki spoke up, looking over the paper Kamanari had given him.

"Hm? Oh yeah he's got a really powerful quirk.

Kamanari muttered.

"Then I'll mark him down as a priority target. Also, have you been following my advice?"

Shigaraki asked eyeing Kamanari with an intense look.

"Yeah yeah I haven't shown off any of my combat training the master gave me and they all think my quirk is less powerful than it is. I told them I can't control the electricity and that I become stupid if I use my power too much"

Kamanari replied.

"Good. The weaker they think you are, the easier it will be for you to get the jump on them"

Shigaraki grinned.

"I know you hate the atmosphere of your current situation Denki, but please try and enjoy yourself and at least pretend like you're they're friend. It will help you blend in easier and will draw suspicion away from you. Plus, there's a chance they might reveal more sensitive information if you can build a relationship with them"

Kurogiri added. Shgaraki nodded in agreement before heading off to his room, pausing in the doorway looking over his shoulder.

"You did good today. I expect the same thing tomorrow"

Kamanari rolled over on the couch thinking about the best way to take down all of his classmates when his mind somehow found it's way back to Kyoka Jirou. There was just something about this girl that he had never seen before. Her witty and sarcastic attitude, her chill and laid back personality. She was friendly and kind of shy but also fierce and full of determination. She was also just absolutely gorgeous with her luscious dark hair and her deep onyx eyes. Kamanri slapped himself before he could go on any further. He went back to his room and picked up his guitar, a bright yellow Fender Telecaster, and played a few licks trying to distract himself. He wasn't very good as he had never taken any actual music lessons, but he still enjoyed playing music. Unfortunately, his mind wandered straight back to Jirou and he threw his guitar on his bed in frustration.

Goddammit why does she have to be so freaking cute

"Hey mom hey dad. I'm home"

Jirou announced as she entered her house. Her parents were in the living room working on their latest album. Her mom sat at the piano while her dad stood next to her, a nice Martin acoustic around his waist. They stopped playing and looked up when she walked into the room.

"Hi sweetie how was school?"

Mika Jirou asked as she walked over to her daughter and gave her a hug.

"It was intense"

Kyoka replied as she pulled away from her mother's embrace.

"My classmates seem pretty chill, but our homeroom teacher is kind of insane"

"Oh well I'm sorry to hear that"

Kyotoku Jirou said as he patted his daughter on the back.

"Did you make any friends?"

Mika asked.

"Hm? Oh yeah all of my classmates seem pretty cool!"

Kyoka exclaimed.

"Well you guys seem busy I'll let you get back to writing"

Kyoka said as she made her way upstairs to her room.

"Okay honey we love you"

Both her parents said in unison as they turned back to their music. Jirou tossed her backpack aside and changed out of her school uniform into the classic shorts and a T-shirt before flopping down on her bed. She could hear her parents practicing downstairs, causing her to pick up her own guitar. A little baby Taylor with a mahogany neck. She strummed a few chords and hummed a few notes. Music was a way for her to escape from the troubles of the world to a happy place where nothing could bother her. She racked her brains trying to come up with lyrics but she was distracted for some reason. She couldn't get that blonde haired idiot out of her brain and his stupid smirk. That stupid super cute smirk.

It's only been one day. There's no way I can be crushing on him already. Let alone a complete buffoon like that dumbass

She suddenly felt her eyelids getting heavy as the fatigue from all the physical exercise she did finally caught up with her.

Damn you Aizawa

She silently cursed as she drifted off to sleep but not before Kamanari's smirk found it's way back into her brain.

Goddammit why does he have to be so freaking cute
