Chapter 10: Capture The Flag

Kamanari hid among the bushes as everyone started running.  He could hear Bakugo's explosions and could see flashes of light from Todoroki's fire. 

"IM GONNA KILL YOU DEKU!"

Bakugo screamed loud enough for everyone to be heard.  The game was in full swing as everyone battled for the flag.  Kamanari ducked down as Ojiro ran past him.  He crept up behind Ojiro coating his hand with electricity as he reached out to incapacitate him.  He was a few inches away when Ojiro's tail whipped around, hitting him in the stomach as he slid backward along the grass. 

"Nice try Kamanari"

Ojiro bowed as he got in a fighting stance.  Kamanari got back to his feet and charged.  He leapt forward attempting a Superman punch but Ojiro flipped over him, smacking him in the back again with his tail.  Kamanari face planted into the ground groaning in pain.  Ojiro tried to jump on top of him but Kamanari rolled away as Ojiro's knee slammed into the grass.  Ojiro spun around trying to whip Kamanari but he caught him by the tail and flung Ojiro away.  The martial arts hero recovered in midair and managed to land on his feet.

Kamanari sent out a burst of electricity but Ojiro ducked behind a tree, avoiding the attack.   He jumped up and used his tail to swing from a branch doing a gainer as he lunged at Kamanari with a flying side kick.  Kamanari easily sidestepped and attempted a haymaker but Ojiro parried, countering with a spinning back fist.  Kamanari leaned back (like a limbo) as Ojiro's fist flew over his head.  He got back up and managed to catch Ojiro with a front snap kick to the gut.

"You're a decent fighter Kamanari"

Ojiro grinned. 

"Same goes for you"

Kamanari returned the compliment.  Both fighters stared at each other until a massive explosion rocked the earth.  Kamanari looked over which was his big mistake.  In the blink of an eye, Ojiro was on him, delivering a nasty right hook to his ribs.  Kamanari fell down, rolling back to his feet as Ojiro's foot landed right in front of his face from a downward axe kick.  Ojiro immediately tried to sweep his leg but Kamanari jumped over it landing a spinning heel kick.  Ojiro used the momentum to backflip, landing on his feet once again.

Jesus this man is like a cat

Ojiro attempted a quick straight but Kamanari caught his fist, coating his body with his quirk. Ojiro froze, his body shaking from the electricity.  Kamanari hit him with a palm strike to the sternum making him stumble back. 

Ojiro tried to walk forward but his foot was stuck.

"What the?"

He asked confused, looking down to see he stepped on one of Mineta's sticky balls.   His eyes widened as Kamanari ran at him knocking him down to the ground with a drop kick.  Ojiro tried to get up but Kamanari immediately secured top mount and pinned Ojiro's wrist down with his shin, slapping the handcuffs on his other wrist.  Ojiro sighed and stopped struggling. 

"You got me"

He muttered as he sprawled on his back catching his breath.   At that moment, Asui came running up (or hopping up to be more accurate). 

"Nice one Kamanari ribbit"

She smiled and gave him a thumbs up. 

"Thanks Asui.  Take him to the jail when Mineta's quirk wears off"

Kamanari said as he got up and ran off to find the flag. 

"You got it.  And I told you to call me Tsu!"

He heard her call out behind him.  He stealthily made his way into enemy territory being as silent as he could.  He had to be extra careful because now he could be captured. So far everything seemed to be in order. He hadn't run into anyone yet and he was well within the other teams base.
