"All right that's it for today good job everyone"
The kids started packing up all their belongings as the final bell rang signaling the end of another school day.
"Wait I forgot. One more thing before you all leave"
Aizawa quickly raised his hand bringing the class back to attention.
"We're going to be trying something new this year. Next Friday night there will be a school dance to give you guys a break. You've been working very hard so be sure to enjoy yourselves. All Might and I will be chaperoning. Don't go crazy but have fun. That is all"
Aizawa left the room mumbling something about needing a nap as the kids finished getting their stuff together. Back in the dorms, Kamanari sat at the table of the common room alone as he opened up his secure chat room with Shigaraki.
Kamanari: I think I have something. The school is putting on a dance this Friday. Only All Might and Eraserhead will be there
Shigaraki: Now this is promising. Good job kid
Kamanari: With the school empty, I think I can temporarily disable the security system. Use the blueprints I gave you to navigate the campus undetected
Shigaraki: A good start. We'll work on the plan over here and I'll get back to you when it's done
Kamanari: Great see yo-
"Hey bro whatcha doin?"
Kamanari immediately closed his laptop as Kirishima rounded the table. Using a little slight of hand he unplugged the flash drive and stuck it in his pocket before Kirishima saw anything.
"Oh I was just shopping for dress clothes. I don't have a suit or anything fancy"
Kamanari lied. It wasn't a complete lie though, he really didn't have any clothes he could wear to the event. At that moment, the girls entered the common room.
"I'm so excited for the dance you guys!"
Ashido squealed as she jumped on the couch.
"Me too! Ooo we should all go dress shopping!"
Hagakure exclaimed.
"Yeah gotta look all fancy for Ojiro"
Yaoyorozu winked.
"Shut up Yaomomo, we all know you're going to try and impress Todoroki"
The invisible girl shot back as she lightly punched Yaoyorozu's arm.
"Man the girls are really getting into this huh"
Kirishima whispered to Kamanari.
"Yeah they are"
Kamanari whispered back. His eyes fixed on Jirou. She looked bored and uninterested compared to the rest of the girls. Kirishima noticed this as a sly smile crept up on his face.
"So are you gonna ask Jirou to the dance?"
Kirishima snickered as he elbowed Kamanari.
"Only if you ask out Ashido"
Kamanari teased back.
"Done!"
Kirishima exclaimed as he stuck his hand out. Kamanari awkwardly shook it with hesitation. He didn't really want to ask out Jirou, well he would most certainly like to go on a date with her, but he didn't want to take her to an event he knew would be sabotaged by the league.
